Chapter 7 - Both POVs

Lizzie's POV

To take my mind off the plushie I went more into the Minecraft and spent a bit of time there then went to other places.

~30 mins later~

I turn into a dance one and see the adorable brown haired boy dancing and decided this was the time I would talk to him! He was Player 2 so I decided to cheer him on - he was up against some random person.

Lizzie: PLAYER 2! PLAYER 2! PLAYER 2!

I think he heard that someone was cheering him on so he tried more and even tried a spin - and got it! Yes!

Lizzie! YESSS!!!!!

I looked at his reflection and he grinned and finished the song first place! He clapped his opponent on the back and congratulated him on a good game, he was so sweet! Then he came over to me...

Joel's POV

I explored the Minecraft area for about 20 minutes before I went to a dance sort of area and thought about having a dance battle with someone! I'll go ask.

Joel: Anyone want a dance battle?

??: Yes ok then, I was just looking for an opponent!

Joel: Ok, what's your name?

??: Pete. And you are?

Joel: Joel!

Pete: Let's go!

We chose the song ROAR by Katy Perry and started dancing. About a minute later I heard someone shouting something.

??: PLAYER 2! PLAYER 2! PLAYER 2!

I look in the reflection and see the pink-haired girl cheering me on, this is my chance to talk to her! As a hard part comes I spin around and get it right! Yes!

??: YESSS!!!!!

I grin more genuinely than I have in a long time and I finish the song in 1st place! I clapped Pete on the back.

Joel: Good game!

Pete: You too!

I jump off the platform and walk towards her...
