Melissa's POV···

Today is the day we get to tell the boys about my well, new job..They already knew I went to see Ricky they just don't know what it was about..

So were meeting in a few hours to go eat and shopping for more performance outfits..The one thing is I have to bring Eva, she's been begging to meet Joel which I'm hesitant about because I know how pushy she gets when she wants something...or someone..

I already took a shower last night before bed so I'm gonna pick out my outfit right now an curl the ends of my hair an put my hair in a high ponytail..

My outfit is a White crop top, black overalls and Adidas..I curled the ends of my hair an put them into a high ponytail, I brush my teeth, and put on very little natural makeup..I grab my house keys, phone, and put 2 $50 in my pocket and head over to Eva's house...

"Hey I'm almost done getting ready." She yells from upstairs as I walk into her house

"Okay I'll be watching tv." I tell her an grab a spot on the couch across from her mom

We both make small talk, and we tell her where were headed for the day, and when to be back...

Eva comes down head to toe looking glammed out..That's one of the reason I wanted to bring her a different time,our plans were going to eat like mexican food and then go to a mall, but because the boys are there she gets super fancy because she knows a potential love interest...don't get me wrong I love going to parties with her and getting glammed up but not today..

"Sooo how do I look?" She asks

"Perfect..for a night of partying?"

"What ahh come on I'm meeting Joel Pimentel today!" She says putting her face in her hands

"Eva you look great but like maybe instead of a glittery dress..hmm wear that one t-shirt dress with that red an black plaid cover up tied around and your black vans?" I tell her going upstairs an picking it out for her

"Okay well what about my makeup?"

"Ohhh no you're not taking that off its looks too good." I say as we laugh at eachother in the mirror

We have a few more hours to kill before Renato is gonna pick us up..

"Chicas?" Eva's mom yells from downstairs

"Que?" We yell back

"Im headed to the store, have fun later." She smiles and leaves

After she leaves we just watch tv for a while..Until we hear Renato honk the horn..

We are already at the restaurant and were being seated with the boys..I grab a seat next to Joel and and Richard and Eva sits next to Zabdiel and Erick, and Renato and Chris are next to eachother...We all ordered our drinks and food and were waiting..

"Hey Joel, I'm Eva." Eva says brightly smiling at Joel

"Uhm hey." Joel says giving her a shy smile

"Soo how is your day going?" She asks

"Great how about yours?" He asks smiling

They continued to talk while we all had our separate convos about random things...

While Richard asks if it would be weird if they were CNCO and CINCO instead and Erick said something really sarcastic so I laughed at him..We locked eyes for the first time in a while, He shyly smiled at me and I hesitated but smiled back and looked away..

When the food came we all ate and talked about random stuff..when we finished the guys payed for the food an refused to take Eva's and my money which was sweet..

We start walking out of the restaurant and I get pulled back by someone..

"We have to talk." Erick whispers as everyone was walking to the car

"You scared me..and can't it wait?" I let my wrist go and caught up with everyone elss

"Hey what's wrong?" Eva asks

"Uhm nothing." I shake my head and smile

.At the mall.

"Hey I'm gonna go see what Joel is up to." Eva smiles an walks away leaving an empty spot next to me

"Hey.." Erick says and fills the empty spot

"What?" I say with a small attitude and look away

"Just let me explain Melissa." He begs

"No, Why should I?" I look straight into his green eyes

"Just..Just please hear me out? Come on I will buy you icecream an we can walk around." He says

"Fine..But only because you brought up icecream." I clarify as we leave the store

We got some Icecream,and went to find a seat around the eating area..

"Melissa that wasn't me." Erick blurts out breaking the silence

"What wasn't you?" I say looking down at my icecream and playing dumb

"It wasn't me..those texts you got I swear it wasn't me you never let me explain, it..it was.."

"Listen Erick I saw what I saw.."

"It was the girl I brought..It was Natalie." He interrupted an looked at me with his green eyes

"But..but why? Why are you still dating her if you knew she ruined whatever we had, friendship or not. That made me feel like I wasn't worth being anything to you Erick.." I say getting up and walking away telling myself in my head not to cry over another boy
