Opposites Attract

Chapter 12: Left Turn

        Third Person P.O.V.*

    The next day, they went to school. They were standing closer to each other then they were before. Aphmau noticed this, and started to get interested. "Hey guys!" Aphmau exclaimed to the couple. "Hey Alpha!" "Hey Aph." They said at the same time. "Soo... Did you two do anything yesterday, the day before that? Anything?" They stared at each other, and blushed madly. "No way... Did you two-" "N-No!!" "You did!! YOU HAD SE-" "APHMAU SHUT UP!!" Kai yelled. Aphmau's eyes had what looked like stars in them. Half othe people in the hall were staring at them, including teachers. Almost all of the school knew that they were dating, I mean, a Werewolf and a Meif'wa are dating! The only people who don't know, are the people who don't care. Aphmau calmed down and, in a quiet voice, asked, "Did you two... ?" "Yes." Ein said. Aphmau walked up to another couple, Zane and Gene. She took Zanes mask, and screamed into it. And to avoid conflict, Gene kissed Zane so he wouldn't try to get his mask back, then make everyone go deaf. This just made her scream more. She stopped screaming and gave Zane his mask back. He didn't put it on. She walked away from them, and they continued talking. At one point, Gene pushed Zane against a wall and kissed him.

        Later during the night
    "Hey, Ein...?" Kai asked. "Hm?" He replied. "Do you... Wanna go to the movies tonight?" Kai asked. "Hmm... Let me check my schedule." Ein replied sarcasyically. "Yeah, sure. Why not? What movie?" Ein asked. "Hmm..." Kai thought for a second. "Maybe we can watch the new 'It'?" Ein was quick to reply, "No. I don't do remakes. It was an unnecessary remake." Kai thought again. "We could watch the new movie on 'Annabell'." Ein was silent at first, then replied with, "Yes. I would be okay with that." Ein smiled. He looked at Kai, and Kai looked back. Whenever Kai looked into Eins eyes, he would loose track of where he was, wether it be an action, or when he's talking. He'll just abruptly stop, and stare. And this time was no different. They stopped at the same time and just stood still, staring into each others eyes. They were about two feet apart when they realized they had stopped in the middle of the road. Before any action was taken, Ein was abruptly hit by a speeding car. He cracked the windshield, rolled over the whole car, but it just kept driving. And it didn't stop. Kai screamed. People started pulling put their phones. Some called 911, some started recording videos. Soon, Ein was taken to the hospital,  and they wouldn't let Kai go with Ein in the Ambulance, but he got a ride home from the cops. He went inside and told his parents what had happened. He broke down and started crying. He spent his whole night curled up in a ball at the corner of his bed, crying and worrying. Please, please be okay...
