The truck was driving fast Jack didn't notice but he must have dozed off because he woke up with a jolt and looked over to see that they were going at top speed along a dirt track somewhere in a forest (why do I keep coming back to forests) mr.viking was laughing like a maniac so Jack did the same thing he did when someone challenged him to a fight he squealed and hid in the corner but then he yelled at mr.maniac (kids skip this part it has colorful language) WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING YOU STUPID FUCKER STOP THE CAR YOU FUCKING IDIOT WERE GOING TO DIE (sorry I couldn't change the colors of the letters) the guy just laughed and said we need speed or we'll never make it as puzzling as that was there were more important matters to attend to and by that I mean a ravine coming up 12:00 (which is forward) it was about 3 feet wide and the other side of the ravine was about 3 feet up it was impossible no matter what speed you go unless there was a ramp you wouldn't go up in which case there wasn't a ramp of any sorts but a split second before we went over he hit a button on the wheel and the car bucked like a bronco and flew into the air then Jack remembered this damn thing had a hydrolic systemwide barely cleared the ravine with ease and pulled up into a clearing when we landed we did a 180 so we were facing the ravine again my heart was beating faster than the car was going (if I had to guess at about 30000000000 beats per second) everything was dead silent it was almost peaceful but then mr.maniac had to ruin that well ain't that a rush kid then got out of the car as if nothing happened so jack got out to turned around and saw a training ground full of fighting arenas and a single barracks mr.maniac was walking towards the barracks I saw field where people fought each other for training I saw dummies that you stab and archery targets but the place was desolate but as soon as he walked into the barracks he knew the place was not deserted mainly because there were 4 people standing there in a line at attention facing mr.maniac Jack didn't know what was going on so Jack tried to straighten up he straightened his back squared his shoulders and puffed out his chest but he's never done that before so he looked worse because he puffed out his stomach mr.maniac introduced them all Sally two knives a trained assassin prepared to kill with her diamond double bladed daggers and light on her feet Claire the archer can shoot a fly from 20 feet away Benji a monk that specializes with a bow staff made of irodium stronger than steel but lighter than a feather Nigel the hotheaded brawler with brass knuckles that can stun any enemy he hits this truly is a death squad the best young trainees around (and Jack) time to get to work
