At a far away kingdom located at the mountainous area, a temple was built for the villager's beliefs. It is said that a certain clan was given the special ability by gods to foresee your future. And thus, the prophecy begun here...
...
Countless stars appeared in the bright night sky of the mountains of Shrandiah. People are already sleeping except for the isolated clan that resides in that temple. They were stargazers; the Manrah Tribe. They study the positions of the stars. They believe that certain positions stars has a connections to everything.
Running footsteps are heard across the other side of the corridor.
"Great elder!!! Great elder!!!!" yelled a young lad.
An old lady in a brown fur coat sitting at the oak bench was startled. She turned her head into the direction of the calling. A young lad, sweating and catching his breath appeared before her.
"Great Elder! The stars! The stars! you must see! Hurry!!" trying to grab the old lady from the bench.
"Alright! Alright! I'm coming." convincing the lad.
She came out the temple and look up at the starry bright night sky. The newly formed constellation caught her attention.
"This is..." she uttered.
"What is it, Great Elder?! What does it mean?!" worried upon seeing the old lady's troubled expression.
The old lady held her right arm into the sky pointing the newly formed constellation. She started to draw connecting the stars into its proper form.
"Here lies the head of the snake... then its body being held by another creature, and here is its tail wrapping the creature's arm."
She explained the form of the new constellation."What are you trying to say?!" He interrupted.
"Chaos, depravity, humanity extinction" she continued.
"What does it mean? Is it a prophecy?" the young lad having troubled understanding what the old lady is trying to say.
"Yes, it is..."
She paused for a while.
"The world is going to meet its fate... Chaos shall rise, disaster will lead everything to rotten... Humanity is in the verge of extinction when the king of the underworld awakens."
The young lad fell upon his knees...
"Death..." he continued.
"What's gonna happen to us now?"
Losing his hope, his shoulder dropped. The old lady tap his right shoulder.
"The gods have not forsaken us."
She look into his eyes, giving a will of fire to the young lad. Then once again, she looked up in the sky.
"At the zenith of the red moon, the serpent will arrive, rises the curtain of chaos. Destiny calls heaven's children and to their will, we'll foresee the future."
The chime dances in the night breeze.
"Then there is hope..." the lad felt the breeze touching his face.
"Hope it is... But who knows what tomorrow had laid upon us?... The world has many futures." she glances slightly at him.
"I still believe humanity will lead to victory, for fate is not decided by prophecy alone." the lad held the wooden bar as his spirit was lifted with full of hopes.
"I swear to every stars in the night sky... I will defend the world with my both hand until every single lives are saved."
The old lady started to laugh...
"You need to eat more rice and be a man first before everything else."
"Of course I will! watch me grow these arms big and body fit to protect you and the whole tribe" showing off his scrawny little body.
The old lady continued her gentle laugh.
"Yeah! Yeah! Right..."
"You don't believe me! I will prove it to you! I'll eat all the rice buns in the cabin" he run off...
"Make sure you can eat it all" as the lad waved goodbye it shows his little mark on his back shoulder...
"The children of earth..." she dragged her sleeve up enough to show the same mark the lad had.
It was a long, long night and it feels like the breeze is dancing into the high mountains of Shrandiah.
"The time will finally come... And you shall carry the burden of humanities' sin... It shall be a painful path for you my boy..."
