This tells the story of Jason a superhuman and his adventures trying to protect his inelex(aka soulmate) from other supernatural and some none supernatural beings.
Jason sat as still as a statue, staring at her from the roof across the street. Ash got out of her car and made way into the alumni gathering party. Jason focused and heard lots of cheers when the three year alumni made her appearance. The voice in Jason's head whined, "can we go see her, please" responding fast "maybe...I haven't decided" he dropped his focus on the party and debated showing up. Ash had graduated three years ago, Jason only 1 year ago. Before he graduated Jason knew Ash was his soul mate, or inelex (in-a-lux) as the voice claimed it was called. The voice had only been with Jason for three and a half years. One day he woke up with this strange presence in his head, the voice explained how he had been chosen to take up the superhuman strengths. His mental strength, and physical state was perfect combo for the extreme abilities granted with this new life line. Jason had so many abilities and he struggled to gain control at first, almost set his house on fire multiple times, and accidentally turned invisible during the night. It had been three years and Jason had learned to channel the powers...and currently was stressing over going to see his inelex whom he hadn't seen in about three years. Eventually he gave in to the voice "alright, let's go." Already in a nice outfit he pulled out his phone to check his hair. "Looking good" piped up the voice. Jason glared at the empty air beside him. He stood up and silently dropped from the roof hitting the pavement feet first he cursed, yah Jason could still feel pain, just his body didn't conform to the injuries that should have occurred. He shuddered at the thought of how his normal body would have reacted. Shaking it off he headed for the door, nervous he stepped inside. Easily the most attractive person everyone caught sight of him when he appeared. "Uhhhh...hey.." Jason mumbled frozen in the sudden spotlight. "JASON!!" Called out a gorgeous girl in the back. Noticeably relaxing he said "Ash." Nodding and accepting the hug as she threw herself into him. The room went back to normal, but Jason heard their thoughts, all of them...except ash's.. for some reason he'd never been able to hear her thoughts. He wanted to punch everyone, "All the hot ones are attracted to nerds. She not even that pretty" thought the most popular girl from his class. "Well she does have a nice rack" thought an old jock. Jason despised them. Focusing back to Ash he grinned and said "I've missed you!" She blushed "Awe I missed you to!" Ash wasn't like other girls, she was nerdy, inteligent, kind hearted, and extremely talented. Hell she plays dungeon and dragons, and stars in musicals. Also she's absolutely stunning, and not how her body looks or how good she does her makeup, no its her eyes, her nose, her mouth, all her facial features, how soft her skin is...he could go on for hours.
Ash and Jason talked and mingled with others for a while, Jason saw how Ash seemed tired. He was aware that large social setting tired Ash quickly. After finishing a conversation with an old drama friend of Ash's Jason grabbed her hand and led her outside.
