She ran swiftly towards the portal leading back to her territory.Her heart pounding as the large goat-like monster sailed through the frosty air in enormous leaps.His minions followed,chasing after the girl.She sped faster after noticing from the corner of her eye as the snow started building up.She saw the portal starting to shrink as she grew near.Out of desperation and fear,she leaped towards the portal,heads first.Thd creature from under the snow burst through its icy tunnel and snapped it's jaws,nearly missing one of her legs.She crashed on the other side into the snow just before she heard Krampus screech.
She laid there on her knees in the cold snow,staring at where the portal had once been.She chuckled softly,and sighed.●|That was a close one Midzy.|○ She thought,before getting up and looking down at her self.She frowned as she saw the bruises,gashes,and a few deepened bite marks covering her small frame.●|I guess I was wrong about me getting away without a scratch-|○ She pondered as she noticed the bite mark on her leg.It was from that damn snow worm when I was running.She ripped off one of her striped sleeves and tied it tightly around the wound.It burned but she finished and looked around.
●|Wait this isn't where the barn is.|○ She looked around.Nothing but snow covered trees littered the area,and a few shrubs.●|Hmm...how can I summon another portal to get us to the mansion....|○She thought when she remembered something falling out of her pocket when she was running ●|THE SPELLBOOK*!!!!!|○ She panicked,"Shit Mystery's gonna kill me if I don't get it back!" Her thoughts were interrupted by the winds strong gusts and howls.●|Looks like there's a storm coming,I better find somewhere to stay the night and in the morning I'll try to figure out what to do|○ She wondered through the forest scanning the area until she spotted a hollowed out tree.It was decently sized,and was faced away from the wind.She sighed and crawled in,tucking her knees in her chest and wrapping her wings around her shoulders like a fluffy,white blanket.She started to drift off to sleep as the winds rocked against her shelter.
