Exhausted

Ashton:Some days it seemed that you and Ashton both only had one setting: GO. You both were constantly running around, getting work done, or traveling from place to place. Your job allowed you to travel with him thankfully, but between trying to keep up with your job and trying to keep up with newly being Mrs. Ashton Irwin, it was exhausting. Placing your head on the desk in front of you in your hotel room, you couldn't stop the groan that managed to escape. It had been over twenty-four hours since you had actually slept, but your looming deadline wasn't going to magically reach itself on its own. Hearing Ashton walk back through the door, you chance a glance over to your husband and smile, "Hey, how was the workout?" "I forgot how hard it was to get back into the swing of things." He mutters, flopping back on the bed, "You can't seriously still be working." "Um...." You turn back to your laptop, "I mean, I'm not even close to meeting this deadline-" "Babe, seriously, you need some sleep. You said you weren't going to keep doing this to yourself." He grumbles, moving behind you, "Come lay down with me, work will still be there when we wake up." He whispers, pressing a small kiss to your shoulder lightly. You contemplate arguing but know it would be no use, so you move from the desk, following your husband to the bed, and smile contently as he pulls you close, wanting to wipe away your exhaustion.

Calum:"Cal? What are you still doing up? It's four in the morning?" you ask, sitting beside Calum on the couch in your living room groggily. You had rolled over in bed, wondering where your extra warmth was only to realize Calum wasn't there, his side of the bed still made, which meant he hadn't gone to bed yet. He hadn't been hard to find though, the light from the living room had given him away. Looking at you, he sighs, running his fingers through his hair, "I just can't sleep, I'm exhausted though but I'm worried about the tour and how things are going to go." He looks away and frowns, "I'm worried about leaving you behind too, I don't want you thinking I'm abandoning you or anything li-" "Calum, stop. We've been through this before. I understand. Besides, I have a job here, I have to work, I can't just up and take off around the world when I have a full time job." You tell him, taking his hand in your own, "Hey, look at me." You wait until he finally turns to you once more, his frown still present, "Don't worry about all of this okay? We'll figure everything out later. Just remember that I love you and everything will work out." "Promise?" "I promise." You swear, smiling happily as you stand and pull on his hand to help him off the couch, "Now, off to bed with you Mr. Hood, we can't have the bassist going on stage with bags under his eyes. It might give people the wrong impression."

Michael:"Has anybody seen my girlfriend? I swear she was here literally ten minutes ago." He says, walking into the studio, hands on his hips. "Did you piss her off again?" Luke asks, laughing lightly and earning himself a death glare from Michael. "No, I didn't piss her off. I just went to make a phone call and she said she would meet me back in here." He says, walking out of the studio and down the hall to one of the meeting rooms. Stopping in his tracks, he can't help but smile lightly to see you curled up on one of the couches, his jacket wrapped around your small frame to keep you warm. Sitting on the edge of the couch, he brushes the hair away from your face, his smile slowly turning into a frown as the realization of how exhausted you had to be slowly began sinking in. It had been non-stop for weeks now: shows, after parties, interviews, studio days, meetings. He had become accustomed to it all but forgot how exhausting it was at the beginning. "I'm sorry my sweet girl," he whispers quietly, pressing a small kiss to your temple, making a mental note to make sure you got more sleep from now on.

Luke:To you it seemed possible that sleep was never going to happen. If you weren't up all night working on projects you were at one of Luke's shows. Some nights it was both; and tonight was one of those nights. You had promised Luke you would be at the show, but you hadn't gotten nearly as much work done as you had hoped. So there you sat, backstage, while your boyfriend and his bandmates prepared to go on stage, one hand clenched in your hair, the other tapping your pen against the table angrily. Feeling two hands slide onto your shoulders, you sigh heavily and lean back in the chair, tilting your head back to look up at Luke as he stands behind you. "Babe, seriously, take the night off. You're going to work yourself to death, I don't want to be a dick but...you look exhausted, you need some sleep." He says, concern marring his face as he looks down at you. You want to argue, but know he is right; exhaustion was taking its toll on you. "Okay," you say softly, resting your hands atop of his own, "After your show I'll get some sleep." Smiling lightly, he nods and kisses the top of your head lightly, "I'll make sure you do." He replies, wanting nothing more than for you to relax and have the rest you so desperately need and deserve.
