It's Not Like That

"So what should we eat" My blonde best friend asked me

Pizza sounds really good. But maybe burritos? Yeah burritos.

"We should get burritos"

"I'll go order them. Be right back"
I just nodded. I pulled out my phone and texted Travis. He's me and Eva's friend. He's from Canada. I was interrupted when I felt a tap on my shoulder.

"Is this seat Taken"

I turn around and see Axell. Well this should be interesting.

"Yeah it is" I say

"Well no ones sitting there" He says,sitting down in Eva's seat

"So what's a pretty girl like you doing here"

"Um I'm shopping" Where is Eva when you need her?

"So baby how about you and me meet at my bedroom around seven"

I make a disgusted face. He can't be serious.

"Really, Jess?"

I look up and see Eva. She looks pissed.

She scoffed "I don't get it. First I like Jake and and then you like him. Now that I like Axell you want him? Unbelievable"

I look at her and shock

"Eva it's not like that-"

"You know what? Forget it. I'll see you back at the apartment" She grabbed her bag and left

"Wait, Eva don't-" She's gone

She really left me. I can't believe it.

"So is it a deal?" Axell asks

I sigh

"Axell if you don't get out of my face in the next five seconds I will castrate you"

He immediately got up and left

I grabbed my bag.

"Conners?" One of the people in the food court said

Oh yeah, The burritos. I grabbed the burritos and left. Walking to the car,while eating the burrito, I saw Eva leaned up against the door.

"Hello" I said

"You have the keys" She said rather nonchalant

"Eva...you know I would never hurt you,Axell is a pig...I don't like him. Why would you assume that?"

She sighed and ran her hands through her hair.

"I'm sorry. I was just angry"

"Why?" I ask, wiping some sauce off my face

"Because of Jake. He said some things to me"

"Like?"

"We should go home first"
