She did multiple activities while living in Korea, such as dance, acting and fighting. She was then sent to the US to live in Los Angeles. There, she continued her dancing and acting, and was also taught to sing. Once she turned 17, she officially moved back to Korea with her parents.

What do you want to do before you debut?: I want to work more on my Korean. I moved away when I was very young and I want to be more fluent with the language.
Who inspires you and why?: My parents. They have always told me to reach my dreams, like they did with theirs. Although they only stuck with the military, they continued to tell me to do whatever I would like and they would support me along the way.
How did you find this entertainment: I first saw an ad online. The company looked like it would help me with any of my strengths and weaknesses.
