''Tam when I get down there, you better be ready to go!" Biana shouted from her walk-in closet. She had spent barely an hour getting ready, and felt the need to remind her husband that he was supposed to be dressed appropriately.

Tam, who hated snuck-up-snobs- or nobles, refused to dress-up elegantly unless it was a special event. Such as his anniversary, or if he just wanted to surprise his wife to where she wouldn't stop staring at him. It was a win-win.

''Sure thing sweetheart!" He called from the second floor, as he went to check on the twins. They had less than ten minutes before they all had to leave. A new year at FoxFire was starting in the next few days, so Biana had planned a get-together for all their old friends and their kids.

Linh and Fitz had gotten married three years after Tam and Biana, mostly because Tam kept threatening his future brother-in-law. The two now had had a four-year-old son named Aten, and a baby on the way.

Sophie and Keefe had gotten married a little before Biana and Tam, and had three girls- Rose, Ella, and Calla; and one boy- who was now the most adorable six-month old elf: Kenric Jr.

Dex and Marella ended up getting married just before any of the others, and had a daughter named Merzie- who mostly took after her father, and  twin boys named Fernie and Bernie. Dex had enjoyed coming up with their names a little too much, but Marella thought it was adorable. The boys were still too young for school, but had their own lab and helped Rose with a lot of her pranking supplies.

''Jade! Bryan! Are you ready to go?"

''Yeah, dad!" They both responded in perfect unison, as they each stepped out of their bedroom doors right across from each other.

''Woah, you look formal dad,'' Bryan said with his eyes nearly popping out of his head, his sister had the same expression.

He rolled his eyes.''Gotta catch your mother's attention somehow,'' he said with a wink.

''That'll do it,'' Bryan said,''Do you think I'll catch Rose's?" He had his hair perfectly styled, and wore one of his best suits.

It was hard for even Tam to say something less than positive, as his son looked so hopeful- a look he no doubt learned from both his aunt and mother. The two women were the only ones Tam couldn't say 'no' to.

''Maybe,'' He said gruffly, turning his attention to his daughter- who was surprisingly wearing the dress Biana had forced her to wear the day before.

''What? Does it not look good?" Jade mumbled nervously.

''Uh sis,'' Bryan raised an eyebrow at her,''why are you dressed up so...elegantly?"

''OH JADE!!! THAT LOOKS SO PRETTY ON YOU!!!" Biana squealed, as she rushed to squeeze her daughter to death.

''Dad! Help!" Jade gasped, trying to claw her way out of her mother's loving embrace.

Tam just smirked,''Let your mother have her fun, you never dress up unless you're forced to.''

''Like someone else I know,'' Biana said shooting him a look over her shoulder.
