It was just another boring afternoon, by myself. It has been like 3 weeks since my mom and dad have been on vacation and my boyfriend Cameron had been recruited to Magcon. Ugh. The last thing I wanted to do was spend my Spring Break all alone.
Cam and I had been planning the perfect Spring Break for months now, but of course, he HAD to go to Magcon.
It was just a few hours into my afternoon of eating icecream, and watching movies; ALONE, when I heard my phone buzz in the other room. "UGH" I complained as I slowly got up and moped into the kitchen, where my phone was charging.
I didn't want to check my phone but it could've been Cam, or my best friend: Savanna.
I unlocked my phone to see that Cam had sent me 5 new messages.
"Hey babe!! Miss you tons, be home in 1 week!! ;)<3"
"Babe!!!!! You awake yet??"
"Helloooo?! You're worrying me."
"I miss you!!!!!"
"KALEIGH!!! :("
He was so impaitent when I didn't answer him within 3 minutes. I replied:
"Hey, sorry. My phone was charging in the kitchen, I miss you tons and love you Cam! <3"
I set my phone down and walked upstairs to get ready for the day. Een though I had no reason to. I hopped into the shower and washed my body. When I got out I got dressed into a pink crop top and some white cotton high waisted shorts. I threw my hair up into a messy bun and applied light makeup.
I was walking down stairs and I heard some one pulling into the drive way. Oh my gosh. Were my parents home already?? Ugh.
I looked out the window but I couldn't see the car clearly because the screen on the window was dirty. So I went and sat back down on the couch. I then heard knocking on the door. "Why would my parents knock?" I thought to myself.
I went over to the door and opened it slowly, not knowing who was on the other side. When I opened the door, Cameron was standing there. Not knowing how to react to this surprise, I let out a loud: "OH MY GOD CAM!!!!!!!!!"
He wrapped his arms around me and squeezed me tight. "Oh my goodness Cam why are you here?!?!" I said into his his tight hug.
"I wouldn't miss our perfect Spring Break we have been planning for the world." He smiled at me.
"I love you Cameron." I said.
"I love you more than anything, Kaleigh." He said, and placed a kiss on my lips.
Maybe it wasn't going to be such a bad Spring Break after all...
