She DIDN'T have to be PERFECT because she was PERFECTLY LOVED.
Guys, this is so dang important to remember. I'm going to be honest, I struggle with this A LOT!! I am such a perfectionist and I strive to make people happy (#peoplepleaser) and when I can't do either of those, it drags me down. Hard. I start beating up on myself to a degree where it's not healthy.
But this verse is DO DANG IMPORTANT to remember because without God, those things that drag us down, our imperfections and the people in the world who suffer or are disappointed in me, would lead us straight to hell. Okay well people who suffer across the world or people in my own town who are suffering and I don't know them aren't completely my fault, but their suffering is a result of sin. We are all born with it and we can't escape it so we have to stop pretending like we can.
Lovelies. Remember this today. God loves you. No matter what you're going through or what you're insecure about or your imperfections are. God loves You.
