Dedicated to chrdwnden 😘😘
It's still early when Dawn got out of the bed. She was surprised to see her husband lying on his side of the bed because he called her last night that he couldn't make it to the dinner and that he might be home the next day. When she looked at the right side of the room, she saw his working bag on the chair which only means that he finished his work already. Smiling, she planted a soft kiss on his forehead and silently walked out of the room. She almost jumped when her little munchkin appeared behind her, still rubbing her eyes an indication that she just woke up with her pink disney princess pajama and pink fluffy slippers.
"Mama.." Her four year old daughter, Samara mumbled, her hair a bit disheveled.
Dawn smiled and went on her knees to level the kid. "Yes, sweetheart?" She caressed Samara's hair and kissed her temple. "Why are you up so early, hmmn?" The child reached for her face and kissed her lips soundly before hugging her.
"My back is itchy, Mama."
Dawn immediately rubbed Samara's back. "Still itchy?" She asked. Samara just shook her head and snuggled closer to her neck. She smiled because she knew her baby was just making lambing to her. She carried Samara on her arms, stood up and walked downstairs to prepare their breakfast.
"What do you want for breakfast, sweetie?" Dawn asked Samara when they reached the kitchen. She put down Samara on the counter top and did her hair.
"Pankeyks, Mama. The one you made yesterday with mister smiley on top."
"Pancakes? Okay, sweetie. How about we make misis smiley, hmmn?" The child nodded and smiled showing her white teeth.
Dawn giggled and started to prepare. She gathered all the ingredients for the pancake and putted it beside Samara's.
"Mama, is Papa home?"
Dawn glanced at her daughter before beating the mixture. "Yes, sweetie. Papa's home but he's still asleep."
"Can I wake him?"
"Later na lang, Sammy, ha? Let papa sleep some more. Help mo na lang si mama sa pagluluto. Okay ba 'yon?"
Samara pouted her lip but smiled by the way.
Dawn and Richard married for 25 years already and blessed with three adorable children, Raymond, their eldest now 16 who looks like Dawn and Richard. He got Richard's eyes and Dawn's nose as well as her attitude. Their second born, Frances Marie now 12 who's so much alike with her Papa and their youngest, Samara. Samara is Dawn's mini me version. From it's eyes, nose, lips, smiles, and everything. So, Dawn except some of it's mannerism that's so Richard.
"Mama?" Samara asked Dawn who's busy putting some chocolate syrup on the pancake.
"Yes, baby?"
"Will you be mad if I ate the chocolate chips?"
Dawn looked at her daughter and saw her already munching something. She almost laugh at how cute Samara looked. She's sporting her puppy eyes, a little smile plastered on her face.
"Sorry, Mama.. It's the chocolate chips fault."
Dawn arched her brow after hearing what her daughter said.
"Why is it so yummy kasi?" Samara continued pouting her lip.
Dawn chuckled and pinched Samara's cheeks making the child giggle. "Ikaw talaga! Cute, cute mo!"
"Mama, let's go wake papa na, pretty pleaaaaaaase."
Dawn carried Samara to their room. She slowly opened the door and went inside the room where they found Richard lying on his back.
"Mama, papa's mouth is open.." Samara whispered and giggled when Dawn put her down the bed. She crawled to Richard's side settling herself on his chest and glanced at her mama before hugging Richard's neck, kissing him all over his face while alternately saying, "Papa, wakey, wakey!"
Richard was already awake when they entered the room and just pretended to be asleep. He loves to tease his youngest so much.
"Mama, papa's not waking up!" Samara whimpered pouting to Dawn. "Is he dead??" She asked leaning to her papa's chest so she can hear his heart's beat. Dawn laughed watching Samara's face crumpled. She knew her husband too well.
"Does his heart still beats, sweetie?"
Samara looked at her like she's going to cry.
"Oh, dear.." Dawn mumbled trying not to laugh. She walked to the other side of the bed and sat beside Richard. Samara got off of Richard's chest so her mama can listen to his heartbeat too. Dawn leaned on Richard's chest, her hand around her waist.
"See, mama? I can't hear it. He's not breathing. Papa's dead!" Samara croaked.
Dawn giggled when Richard suddenly hugged her. "Papa's very alive, sweetheart." She said and pinched his side.
"Aray ko naman, mahal." He laughed then turned to his little girl reaching for her hand. "Good morning, ganda.. Come here."
Samara laid on his side and hugged him. "You're so mean papa. I thought you're dead. I thought we're going to burry you on the sand." The child muttered snuggling closer to him, almost laying on his top.
Richard just laughed and kissed Samara's forehead doing the same thing to his wife.
"Nagbibiro lang po si papa, mahal. Wag na magalit, hmmn?"
Samara eyed him before kissing his cheek. "Okay. You're forgiven na papa." She slipped on his embraced and sat on his chest again. "Get up na papa! We made pankeyks with misis smiley on top! Bilis!" Dawn patted his cheek before going out of the bed.
"Tayo na, babe." She giggled when Richard pouted his lip.
"Good morning kiss ko?" He asked like a kid. Samara grinned and pecked his lips.
"Ayan na, oh.. Sige na. Check ko pa 'yong dalawa." Dawn said walking to the door.
"Hindi ako kiniss ni mama mo, ganda." He whispered to Samara who just laughed at him. His gazed followed his wife who leaved the door slightly open. When she zoomed out on his sight, he hugged Samara instead sniffing to it's baby scent. "Bango, bango! Tara na. Papa's hungry.."
"Papa, angkas ako."
"Kiss mo muna ako."
The child wrinkled her nose before kissing his cheek leaving some drools on his face. He picked Samara up and made her sit on his shoulder, her little hands wrapped around her neck.
"Papa, run!" Samara demanded and so he ran like an obedient child making his daughter laugh out loud.
"Chard! Careful!" His wife hissed when they passed to her. He only smiled and headed straight to the dining.
"Yooohoooo! That was fun, papa! Let's do it again! Let's do it again!" Samara giggled wiggling her feet. Richard laughed and put her down the chair.
"Bukas na ulit, baby. Mama will be mad." He said and fixed her hair.
"Kayo, ha. How many times did I told you both, no running inside the house?" Dawn spoke from his behind.
Richard turned to her and saw his two more angels. They were already in their uniforms. "Si sam-sam kasi..." He smiled and pulled his wife for a quick embrace kissing her nose before letting her go. "Good morning, ate.." He greeted and gestured her dalaga who immediately gave him a tight hug followed by his binata who did the same thing. "Gwapo natin kuya, ah." He said while looking at his panganay.
"May pinopormahan kasi, pa." Frances told them which earned her a glare from her brother. Frances just stocked her tongue out as the ever pala-asar among them. Before the two started a fight, Dawn called their attention stopping the two from glaring each other.
"Tama na yan. Upo na so we can eat." She said and attended to Samara who's already licking the syrup on the pancakes. "Baby, hindi pa tayo nagpe-pray diba?" She asked Samara who only grinned showing her teeth filled with chocolate syrup. Frances and Raymond laughed as well as Richard at Samara's cuteness. She laughed and ruffled Samara's hair joining her love ones making the dining filled with their genuine laughter's.**
