First things first. This is something I am a culprit of. I get mad at myself sometimes too.
Like when you finally find a good ff and it's perfectly written and you saw that it only had 10 chapters and the last time they updated was 4 months ago and you know you're gonna regret it later but does that stop you??? HELL NO!! Because that description was real nice and you read the first chapter and now you're hooked.
Cue 5 months later and you finally get an update!!!?? You get all excited and shit fangirl or fanboy your ass off because the author to your favorite fanfiction updated.
But the jokes on you cuz it's a fuckin AUTHORS NOTE!!! LIKE BITCH DID I ASK YOU FOR THIS???!?!?!?!?! NO I DID NOT WHY THE HELL IS THIS NOT A CHAPTER???!!!! DON'T FUCKING WASTE MY TIME PLEASE!!!!!
And the funny thing is that authors note is just apologizing saying that they are putting their story on a Hiatus.
