A new beginning: Twilight fan fiction

                                                                                         Chapter one

(A/N)  So... I started this a while ago... years actually and the tablet I was using broke and I couldn't remember my log in information. But I attempted to log back in and finally got it! I'm fixing this story up because it has potential but I am cringing so much reading through this again. Sorry for the wait, hopefully I can make up for it with this story? Enjoy!

     Mary and her twin, Tary, used to love the sun, the heat and Florida. They never thought they would leave, but when their family was attacked by a coven of vampires and they were the only survivors, they knew they had to run. They didn't know where they were going exactly, but they learned that they sparkled in the sunlight. They had to choose somewhere they could be outside during the day without sparkling. Tary found a couple of places out of America, but the one that stuck out was Alaska. It was like... it spoke to her in a way.

    Tary and Mary decided it was better to leave everything in Florida and just run to Alaska. If  they brought anything it would only be a constant reminder of their family. They only packed their clothes, shoes, and a picture of them and her parents with her older brother. Tary and Mary are completely identical and have always loved it.

      They put there hair the same way and wear the same thing in different colors. They're slim but they do have curves and have long black hair that falls around their waist's as well as bright green eyes. Mary and Tary were never apart, when people saw how close they were they never wanted to split them up. Their teachers, their friends, and especially their parents. They were still sleeping in the same room when their family was attacked.

       The twins never felt the need to move out because they are identical and they love each other. They told each other everything, they sometimes could even hear each others thoughts. When they were changed into vampires, they found that they could year each other's thoughts all of the time now. They thought it was weird for a little while, but it became natural after a while. Becoming vampires actually brought them closer together, which they didn't even think was possible.

                                                                                     ----- Time Skip -----

       When they got to Alaska, they found a house in the middle of nowhere. They smelled something inside, but it wasn't human nor animal. 'What do you think that could be?'  Mary thought to Tary. 'I have no clue... do you think they are dangerous?'  Tary thought back. 'One way to find out.'  Mary said as they began to walk to the house. They didn't even make it to the porch before a big mass of people were instantly standing in front of the house protectively. "Wait!! Wait! Before you do something unnecessary," Mary exclaimed. "We're only looking for a place to stay. " Tary explained. "We don't want to hurt any of you." They said together. Everyone looked to a tall handsome boy with bronze color hair. To the girls confusion, he nodded. They all stood up regularly and the pixie girl danced over to Mary and Tary. "We are going to have so much fun! I am Alice. This is my family." A tall blonde man walked over to them. " I am Carlisle, we are very sorry if we startled you, we are not used to visitors. Please come inside." The man they now know as Carlisle invited. When they walked inside they both gasped and said "Wow..." at the same time. The boy with the bronze hair chuckled. "What?" The twins said in unison. " Everyone chuckled. " You have very similar minds... it is fascinating how alike you both are." Mary and Tary looked at each other and grinned. 'I love it when. people notice how alike we are!'  Tary thought to Mary. 'I know right!'  Mary replied. The bronzed hair boy looked at both of them like they were from a different planet. " What?" they said in unison again. "Can you talk to each other with you minds?" he asked the twins. Now it was there turn to be surprised. "How did you know that?" Mary asked him. " I have a gift to." he explained. " We will talk to you both about the special gifts that can come with being a vampire later, but right now we should probably introduce ourselves." Carlisle said.

     The bronze haired boy stepped foreword with a young woman with long brown hair. " Hello, I am Edward. And this is my wife, Bella." he explained. Bella waved while Alice and and a young man with short curly blonde hair walked towards them. Alice said hello again and hugged them. " sorry about almost killing you... hehe.... my name is jasper." he said while holding out both of his hands. They shook his hands at the same time. It was the tall and beautiful model like girl and a huge man with short hair and a smirk's turn to introduce themselves. "Hey, my name is Emmitt, I think it is really cute how you both say things at the same time." Emmitt said with a bigger smirk than before. The tall model elbowed him for that. The two giggled and said ' thank you' at the same time. Everyone chuckled again. "My name is Rosalie." she said simply. Carlisle's wife Esme went up to give them a hug and said that if they ever needed anything, that they can just ask.'Wow, I never expected them to be this nice!'  Mary thought to Tary. 'Me either... you would think that they would be interrogating us or something...'  Tary responded. Edward chuckled. The twins looked confused again so they decided to take this to the living room and talk about the Cullen's individual talents.

     "Well, seeing as how you are most confused about my behaviour" Edward started. " I can read people's minds. That is why I was laughing, I thought your conversation with each other was very entertaining." Edward explained.

'Woah...Talk about unexpected...'  Mary thought. Tary nodded "I have a mental shield that protects me from Mental gifts." Bella said with a giggling as she looked at her husband. " I can see the future.. but I didn't see you too... odd..." Alice said trailing off a bit at the end. " I can manipulate the feelings of others, like calm down angry people." jasper said. " as you know, Tary and I can read each others minds." Mary said. Right after Mary finished, a young girl with deep red long hair and freckles came in with a tall, dark, and handsome man with a stench so bad the twins thought the Cullen's owned a dog that got caught In the rain. The twins didn't mean to gag, but they couldn't help themselves. "Woah! what the hell is that smell!" they said together. Everyone laughed except for the the tall man that just came in. " well you don't smell very good either." he said. They didn't feel mad about what he said, just confused. "That is Jacob, he is a werewolf and that is Renesmae, she is a little bit more complicated..." Carlisle said.
