How to Speak Fangirl/Fanboy

Being fangirls ourselves we understand how hard it can be for for other, non-fangirls to understand us. So we have decided to create a dictionary to help ya out :)

The Fangirl Dictionary

I ship it: A term used when a fangirl/fanboy wishes for two characters/people to become a couple.

Asdfghjkl: (Some add an ; to the end, this is optional) A term used when a fangirl/fanboy becomes extremely excited/sad/angry and cannot express their emotions.

The feels: A term used when a fangirl/fanboy is experiencing many emotions and cannot express them.

OTP: (Stands for one true pairing) A term used to describe a fangirl/fanboy's favourite ship.

Canon: A word used by fangirls/fanboys do describe something that sticks to the original plot of the story it derrives from.

What is air: (Sometimes expressed as I need air) A term used by fangirls/fanboys when hyperventilating/laughing over something exciting or important.

IRL: Stands for in real life. A term used by fangirls/fanboys when talking to their internet friends about their life outside of the internet.

I can't: (Sometimes expressed as I can't even) A term used by fangirls/fanboys when they can't process the information they've recieved because it is so exciting/important.

I'm so done: (Sometimes shortened to done) A term used by fangirls/fanboys when they cannot handle anything else at that moment and need to stop and process the information they've received.

Headcanon: A short peice of writing, written by a fandom that describes a scene that was not incorporated in the story.

Ship: A term used to describe two people that a fangirl/fanboy would like to become a couple.

Feels: A term used by fangirls/fanboys to describe intense emotions.

*dies*: A term used by fangirls/fanboys when they simply cannot function anymore because of the feels.

Stahp: A term used by fangirls/fanboys when a fellow fangirl/fanboy is reminding them of something upsetting.
