Chapter 2: Lucy Heartfilia

Natsu P.O.V

Alright so my home room is room 215. As I walked in everyone stared at me but then came to greet me like I was just like them. I felt happy that I was being treated the same and talked with many students in that class including our home room teacher - Miss Vermillion. She had blonde hair that reached her feet and ocean green eyes that if you looked at them you feel as if they're staring at your soul. 

She had two wings on either side of her head. Cute. Damn, I wish she was a student here. Everyone took their places and I sat next to a black haired guy who was the same height as me. The teacher stood up from her desk and started introducing herself.

"Hello! I am Mrs.Vermillion and I am your home room teacher for this year!"she says happily. "Now, we have a new student and please treat her nicely.'' New Student? She? I hope she's nice.

"Please say hello to Lucy Heartfilia!" the teacher said as a familiar girl walked in the room. She had a black jacket covering her face. Lucy huh? 

The teacher whispered to Lucy and she nodded removing her jacket. Everyone in the class gasped and one even said "She's mine! I claim her!"

She had shoulder length blonde hair with beautiful chocolate brown eyes. Underneath her jacket she had the school uniform and on her right hand had the school's tattoo in the color pink. And I've gotta say.... she had some pretty big breasts. I was thinking about it when the teacher snapped me out of my thoughts and said "You may have a seat." Lucy took a seat at the back and put her head down as she was turning pink from all the attention. I wonder if we could be friends.

Lucy P.O.V

AAAHH!! It was so embarrassing....Everyone was looking at me and talking about me the whole lesson! I wanted to run out of the class and go outside! When I walked in the classroom the first thing I noticed was the pink haired guy who had helped me outside. I felt my cheeks turn red and my heart beat faster. I tried to calm my breathing down but it was no use... What is this feeling? I don't really want to know.

~ At Lunch ~

Yes! Finally I can go to the library! I thought to myself as I ran to the library. As soon as I ran in I bumped into someone. ((A/N: Can you guess who it is? XD))

"I-I'm so sorry!" I said as I helped the girl up. She had short blue hair and light brown eyes. That looked familiar but I couldn't put my finger to it.

"Its okay" she said rubbing the back  of her head, then she looked at me and gasped. "Lu~chan?" 

Wait that nickname...that voice..... "Levy?" I asked tears starting to form in my eyes as well as hers. 

"Lu~chan!!!" she shouted as she gave me a bear hug. I returned the hug and we started sobbing in each others shoulders.

"I missed you so much Lu~chan! I thought I was never going to see you again..." Levy said in between sobs.

"Hey...I'm here now... After school I'll buy you a book and I'll tell you everything okay?" I said to stop her crying.

"Really?! You're the best!" she says happily.

~ After School ~

We came out of the book store with Levy holding the seventh Harry Potter book. "Eek! Lu~chan!! I've been waiting to buy this book for ages and its finally here!"

"No problem Levy" I say smiling at her. She's really cute when she does this. "Now let me begin why I left.." 

"Well..when my mom died my dad became depressed and told us to start a new life here in Magnolia. I obviously didn't want to leave you guys but I had no choice." "After these 6 years my dad changed and well...he's a new person." 

"Oh Lu~chan.." Levy said hugging me again. "You could've  told us..."

"....I'm sorry, I didn't want to leave you and...Gray..." I said tearing up.

"Hey Lu~chan, guess what?"

"What?"

"Gray is here. He's in this school."

I gasped. He's here? Where?  Suddenly I heard a voice behind me. "Did someone call me?" the voice asked. I turned around and saw the guy I knew before. He was grinning that grin I loved about him. I ran up to him and hugged him. "Gray!!!" I said crying as he hugged me back.

"Hey Luce, Long time no see." he said. My heart was beating so fast. What is this feeling? Is it.....love?

~ Flashback ~ 

"Lucy!" Gray said while pulling me to a cherry tree. "Look!" he said pointing at the middle of the tree. There were our initials in a heart. L+G. 

"When we grow up will you marry me?" Gray asked happily while kneeling down on one knee.

"Yes!" I said while hugging him.

"Yay!" he said while jumping up and down. 

~ End of Flashback ~

I wanted to remind him about it when he said "I have a girlfriend!" Suddenly my heart felt as if it was breaking in two. "W-Who is she?" I said making a fake smile on my face.

"Her name is Juvia Lockser." he said. I felt like breaking into tears.

"C-Congratulations!" I said keeping the fake smile on.

"Well talk to you later, Juvia is going to kill me for being late!" he said while running back to his house I assumed.

When he left I broke into tears and ran away from Levy. "Lu~chan!" I heard her say but I kept running. The school roof. I thought to myself. Its open after school.  I ran to the roof where no one was there and screamed.

I continued screaming. If I scream I'll remove all my love for Gray. I continued screaming and crying at the same time. I didn't care, I just wanted to remove this pain in my chest.

While I was screaming a hand grabbed my waist and hugged me and it said "Will you stop crying? I don't want to see you like this..." it said.

I turned around and saw that pink-haired guy who helped me before look at me. "Idiot" I muttered under my breath as he pulled me closer to him and chuckled. "And my name's Natsu." I turned red as he pulled my head on his chest and told me "Rest. You need it." As if on time my eyelids became heavy and the last thing I saw was the sunset. I never imagined that Natsu, the guy who helped me get rid of the bullies also wanted to be my friend. I felt shy. I was screaming my head off  and he probably heard me. Before I went to sleep for good I heard him say "Goodnight Lucy." Maybe he isn't that bad after all...
