Chap.10: Sofia + Shu

Shu's POV:
While wandering in the hallway, I was minding my own business feeling lazy as usual.

I'm gonna go to sleep in the music room....

Just then I heard a beautiful sound coming from the music room.

What the hell was that?

I thought curiously as I head straight towards the music room, I open the door to see Sofia singing elegantly while playing the cello.

Mata atashi
Kokoro ga sakete
Nagarederu

Tsukurotta
Sukima ni sasaru
Kioku-tachi

Still, you do not answer
Still, you do not answer....

Once she ended the song so elegantly, I find my self clapping at her beautiful performance shocking Sofia where she turns to me with a surprised look.

Sofia's POV:
Once I finished performing, I heard someone clapping when I flinched and turned to see Shu standing there clapping.

"S-Shu?..."

I stuttered as Shu stopped clapping, he compliment me.

"Nice performance."

I then turned away shyly feeling awkward when he saw me playing.

"I don't sound that good...."

I shyly doubt, but Shu chuckled and smirked slightly.

"That's bullshit, what you did was amazing."

I then widen my eyes when the most laziest person in school actually complimented me.

"R-Really?...."

I asked in disbelief yet bewilderment as Shu's eyes widen as well.

Shu's POV:
Right after I unintentionally complimented her, I became surprised by what I said to her.

What the hell? What am I saying?

Usually I don't care much about people and ignore everybody around me but with Sofia, I felt completely strange when I'm near this woman....

I then sighed and walked up to her.

"Listen Sofia, I know we talked a few times during our high school days and we just talked yesterday, but...."

I then grip my hands and sighed.

Just let it out Shu, just at it out.

I told myself as I finally let out my feelings to her.

"....I love you."

I finally confessed my feelings to the woman I loved for a long time where Sofia widen her eyes and blushing completely red.

"Y-You're joking right?...."

She stuttered in disbelief as Shu sat next to her, he sighed.

"I'm not joking Sofia, I do love you...you're not like other girls Sofia, you're strong, kind, smart, and talented."

I honestly admits to her, but Sofia turned away in doubt and disbelief.

"...You're just saying that...."

She retorts feeling distrustful towards him due to her bad romance experience with her ex after he hurt her last summer.

"I know, you told me about that yesterday."

"Huh?"

She turned to him with a puzzled face.

"After all this years of isolation, I always thought humans are annoying and careless beings, but when I met you...."

I then turns to Sofia with serious blue eyes.

"...I felt very strange when I'm around you...at first I thought you're going to be like other women, but when you talked to me, I find myself intrigued by you Sofia. You're a really interesting woman Sofia."

I openly told her which causes Sofia to widen her eyes in bewilderment as she narrowed her eyes down at the ground.

"...You're not going to cheat on me are you?..."

She asked skeptically but I chuckled and grinned.

"I would never do something stupid like that."

I replied nonchalantly as I lifts her chin up to my blue eyes looking very serious.

"Listen to me Sofia, no matter what happens to you, I will always be there for you and I will never ever betray or hurt you just like your ex did."

I stated intently as Sofia became surprised and moved by my words, I cupped her face.

"I love you Sofia Ibarra, I honestly love you so much....I know I'm not good with women, but...will you go out with me?..."

I asked her calmly with a lot of anticipation happening in my mind. Suddenly, Sofia grabbed the back of my head and kissed me where I widen my eyes.

We break off the kiss when Sofia gave me a gentle grin.

"Would this count as a "yes"?"

She asked kindly as I smiled warmly at her, I hugged her with all of my heart and Sofia hugged me back.

"Sofia."

"Hm?"

"Can you sing me a song?"

I asked her sweetly as she grinned warmly and nods.

"Of course Shu."

Sofia then grabbed her cello and played the most beautiful and melodic song that I never heard of in my entire life.

Right after she ends the song with a beautiful melody, I hugged from behind with a loving grin and kissed her on the cheek.

"I love you Sofia."

I confessed to her where she giggled and lightly kissed me on the lips.

"I love you too Shu."

She replied back with a loving smile as both of us embrace in the music room, I finally smiled for the first time where the woman I love belongs to me....
