It was a Saturday and I got a message on Snapchat from Adrian saying "hey u wanna start a streak". I responded "ummm sure?". Don't judge I didn't know what else to put.
2 days later I got a message from Adrian on Instagram saying "Can I ask u a personal question?" Uh oh. What is that suppose to mean? I texted my friend right away (She already know about my crush). She responded "say yes! Say YES!!" So I went ahead and said sure. He asked "do you like me?" What?! What?! WHAT?! I went straight to my friend and told her everything. Her response once more was "say yes! Say YES!" Although I didn't listen to her this time I said no sorry why? why? Why? Why am I so dumb? Oh well. That's that.
His response: "oh". Oh? What is that suppose to mean right back to Melanie. "Melanie, I'm sorry I actually said no and I got nervous and then he responded with oh and I don't know what that's suppose to mean and I feel dumb and ugh help!" Her response: "breathe!" I don't understand anything. I don't understand him. I don't understand my feelings.
Most of my friends have boyfriends and I don't understand how! They tell me the same story. They met, they liked each other, they told each other that they liked each other, they asked each other out. Why is it so easy for them and so difficult for me? So that day I went up to Melanie at lunch and asked "what should I do?" "Well, for starters I think you should tell that little friend of yours Bessie was it?-- ". "Jessie." "Yes, yes, umm Jessie about your little crush. So she could find out if he likes you back, and second I think you should flirt with him. Cause' honey if he really is as cute and hot as you make him sound, then I reassure you another girl will come by and take him as quickly as you can say honey"
Then just like that she left because who was calling her? Of course her boyfriend! I mean she has a boyfriend and it is definitely not her first. I started thinking..
Should I tell Jessie, on one hand it could give me a personal spy and if she's fine with it, I won't be nervous. On the other hand, it might ruin our friendship.
Should I flirt with him, I mean it might work or it might go totally wrong.
