Day 1
Brendan couldn't sleep. It was too hard to suppress his curiosity. He needed to find the murderer. He silently got out of his bed and snuck out to the computer. While engrossed in the computers programming system someone snuck behind him. They silently walked right behind Brendan, and ducked low behind his chair. Brendan turned around to see nothing, his murderer hidden by his own shadow. He turned back to the wall of code. The murderer stood up an snapped Brendan's neck in a quick, practiced motion, typed some new text, and snuck beck into the dormitory, unseen and unheard.

Again the group woke up to the slowly brightening lights of their dormitory.
"Where's Brendan?" Garret asked, Brendan had been sleeping in the bed directly next to his. Fear washed over them as they saw the empty bunk. Everyone was awake, alert.
The group went out the same way as yesterday, only more cautious. Before they saw the next room they wondered "Is he dead? Or is he lying in wait?" They were not ready to see his body in the next room sprawled on the ground. The screen of the computer read "curiosity killed the cat." 1 down, 19 to go.
---------------------------------------------
Jack went down on one knee and checked Brendan's pulse. "Nothing," he said grimly. "Where do we put him?" Zoe asked, being braver than The others who had ran back to their beds.
"We should put him back in his bed," Garret said.
"Don't do that to yourself Garret," Sarah said.
"It's only for the day," Garret said.
With that Nate, Gavin, Kelten, and Jack lifted up Brendan's lifeless body and put him on his bed. "May God keep your soul," Nate said. Gavin pulled the covers up over his head and went into the common room.
"Did you have a nice rest guests? Your friend will be sleeping in for awhile. Meanwhile enjoy your meal." The intercom shut of and the small dumbwaiter in which their food had arrived in earlier opened, revealing a platter of scrambled eggs and bacon.
This time breakfast was more silent. Their friend was dead, along with their appetites.
---------------------------------------------
Ceci found a piece of chalk in the pocket of her jacket. She walked to the wall and wrote:
In memorial to
Brendan
She left plenty of room below but on another wall she wrote "Keep calm and carry on." That was all the group needed. Brendan was put to the back of their minds as they started a game black jack.
With heavy hearts,
The group carried on
Playing the same games,
Singing the same songs
Their bravery tested,
Through the death they feared
They kept joking on,
And kept up their cheer
A murderer lurked,
With evil intent
To see who would be next,
Whose life would be spent
