Eden pov
Beta Derek came to collect Jake and M and my father had a look of death on his face. I knew I was in trouble when my father looked this way. When I was little I knew it was time for me to run and hide. I know it sounds really bad but it was just how it was. He plastered a sweet smile but the look of death still evil look in his eye was there. He started to talk.

"Come with me Eden we need to talk about something."

"What was so important that you couldn't speak to me with M and Jake here as well. Also I don't want to speak to you not since my birthday when you refused to help me."

"Just shut the fuck up and come with me NOW." Also don't say anything about this to your Mate or Molly rose or i will do the unthinkable to you. Got it.

His eyes darkened and he didn't look like the man I knew as father he almost half shifted. Half shifting is very hard to do and only the strongest and the most powerful werewolves could do it and my father was definitely not one of those werewolves. He started to walk to the door of his office I knew if I didn't follow I would be in so much trouble for not following an order. We walked through several hallways before we came to the training room. Percy the trainer was in there. Percy is only 16 years old but he is such a good trainer and fighter. Honestly Percy was built like a Greek God but he was my best friend and to tell you a secret he was a total wimp when we were children. My father spoke to Percy telling him to leave.

Now Eden I want you to go and stand in front of the knife throwing target and stand completely still if you flinch or catch the knives I will slap you. Got it.

Yes Sir. All I wanted to do was run out of the doors and find my loving caring mate and not be here with this sick barstard that thinks it is a good idea to throw knives at his child. But then again I am not technically his child he might of raised me but I'm not his own flesh and blood. But it didn't matter anyway he did this all the time but this time it was different his face was scary and dark. He grabbed 5 knives and was going to throw one. He threw it the knife hit right next to my left arm then he threw another hitting just above my head next hit my ear slicing it. The fourth hit between my two legs. Last one was going to thrown he smiled. I was worried and scared he threw it and as it came towards me I knew it wasn't going to hit around me. I didn't have enough time to react before the knife came pummelling into my stomach. He came walking towards me and pulled the knife out of my stomach it hurt like a bitch.

He started to talk to me. Saying I couldn't have a mate and I had to reject him because my dad has already picked an alpha for me to marry for power.
I found it sick of how he can say that. He know the feeling of rejection with his first mate and think I would do that to my mate. He can think again. I took two steps forward.

"Father I will not reject my wonderful mate just for power"
"What did you say to me Eden." "You will reject your pathetic escuse of a mate and marry the alpha I have picked out"
"No I won't and you can't make me"
"I can and I will if you don't follow my orders I will have to punish you"
"Do what you want to me I WILL NOT REJECT HIM"
"Have it your way Eden"

He walked slowly towards me. I backed up till my back hit the wall stupid move. He still came closer until he was a step away I could I smell the whiskey on his breath. He grabbed my neck and lifted my off the floor and slamming me into the wall I was just on. I tried to mindlink M to help me. I kept trying as my father was slamming me into the wall. Black spots appeared in my vision and I found it hard to breath. My vision got worse as more spots came into it after a minute I blacked out but just before I heard someone bursting through the door.

M pov
My father came to collect me and Jake. We went to the kitchen before anyone said anything.

Derek what are we doing in the kitchen.
You don't need to know Mollyrose. You don't want to know.
Why wouldn't I want to know why we are in the kitchen. Also why--
