I smiled and texted him back.

Jack- hey yourself
Markimoo- hi self

I laughed "god he's such a dork"

Jack- you fork
Markimoo- fork?
Jack- yes fork you got a problem with that?
Markimoo- nope my only problem is I'm not with you
Jack- stop you're gonna make me blush!!!
Markimoo- I don't see how that's a bad thing

I smiled and was about to respond when the door opened.

"Jack?"
"In here" I said from the couch.

Gen walked in with a small smile. She was a little taller than me with black hair cut a little above her shoulders. Gen wasn't​ skinny but wasn't fat either, she was the perfect weight or her "ideal weight" as she would say. Today, she was wearing some light blue jeans and a band tee shirt.

"Hey" Gen said as she sat down next to me.
"Hi" I smiled and laid my head on her shoulder.
"Josh told me what happened" She said softly, "and how you made a new friend"
I blush.
"Well are you gonna tell me about him or do I have to guess?" Gen chuckled.

"His name is Mark and he um.....Asked me out" I whispered the last part. Gen smiles widely, "where's he taking you?"
"Let me ask"

Jack- where are we going for our date?

"You already got his number?" Gen raised an eyebrow. I blushed even more, "y-ya"

Markimoo- I was thinking maybe lunch in the park or dinner and a movie, what do you wanna do?
Jack- both sound fun maybe dinner and a movie?
Markimoo-- sounds good to me I'll pick you up at 5 tomorrow

"Dinner and a movie tomorrow"
Gen stood up making me fall onto the couch. I pouted "what was that for?"
"Come on we need to pick out an outfit for your date"

She pulled me off the couch and up the stairs to my room.
