25 MINUTES EARLIER
Overdrive was flying across the sky, he had the civilians behind him (They were being controlled by Overdrive) when he heard a loud crash. He had just left the party. He calculated that the explosion was just over 500 miles away. He flew there but had to drop off the civilians at a police station first.
Overdrive noticed that Misty and Frostbite were in trouble. He was enraged immediately, his lack there of eyes glowed a bright hue of blue.
He dived down and landed. The entire landscape around him crumbled and folded. The pieces didn't fall but instead floated in midair.
"WHO ARE YOU" Overdrive shouted, his voice robotic, repeating and stuttering, literally sounding like a broken record. His vocal pitch changed randomly and his voice was barely legible.
"Oh, is this the famed 'Overdrive'?" Anglo said "I must say i am quite disappointed that this is it, i was expecting something, well more"
"SHUT UP" Overdrive said, same tone in his voice.
Overdrive teleported forward, and threw an all out punch at Anglo, it went straight threw him.
"Ah a legendary warrior whom cant even tell the difference between a hologram and a real thing.. Disapointing."
Overdrive began gathering energy, he was attempting to pinpoint the location of this man, but he couldn't find anything in the infiniverse, he even checked in between the universes!
"Overdrive you won't be able to find me with your level of skill" Anglo said "even if you could see into darkspace you wouldn't find me, EVERDARK shall not be discovered by the likes of you"
"Goodbye Alpha League, I shall see you when I need you"
The binds on Misty and Frostbite were lifted.
Overdrives anger began to subside hours after.
"Im telling you, he said 'Followers of The Ultimate Evil'" Misty said
"He couldn't of, that'd make no sense" Overdrive replied
Genos and Nighto were playing First Fantasy J on the alpha leagues Powerstation 4 when Nighto said
"Flame we can't beat this boss without you!"
