Anthony Ramos - Just Another Chorus Girl

New Home, New people

6 months later

I'm so excited! Today is the day Anthony and I are finally moving in together! We've been meaning to for over a month now, but considering we're both on broadway at the moment, it's been quite a slow process.

But today, we're finally moving into the the apartment that we're renting together on the upper east side. It's all white inside and very much minimalist which I love, as not having lots of clutter relaxes me for some reason.

We eventually finish unpacking and stand together, admiring our work.

"I'm so excited to finally have a home with you, gorgeous" Anthony said, kissing my forehead and wrapping his big arms around me.

"Me too, babe" I smile, nuzzling into his chest. I feel safe with him. I'm so lucky to be with a guy who completely understands me. Things haven't been easy for the last few months, especially since we're so busy with the show. Thankfully, we understand each other's schedules, however I'll admit sometimes when I've get really tired, I can be incredibly grumpy- but Anthony always knows how to cheer me up or when to give me space. And I'm so grateful for that.

We check the time and it reads 4:30pm and pack our bags for the evening, lock up our home, and then stroll hand in hand to the Richard Rodgers theatre to perform yet another production of the show that brought us together.

We arrive and make our way through the cast door after signing autographs and taking photos for some of the people that waited outside.

We're greeted by Oak and Chris as we arrive and they inform us that the cast is going out clubbing after the show later.

"Sounds good!" Anthony says and I nod in agreement.

"Yeah I'm in!" I smile and make my way to my dressing room.

Renée comes and gives me a quick hug as I enter our dressing room.

"Isabella, are you coming tonight?" Renée asked me.

"Hell yeah! We haven't had a night out as a cast in ages, I'm really excited!"

"Good! And yeah same, although I do have to warn you about something" she said ushering me to take a seat next to her on our sofa.

"The thing is," she starts, "there's a girl called Ashley who is coming later, she used to work on the set back at The Public. Anyway, Anthony and her kind of had a thing way back when, but they broke up eventually and it was rather messy. I'm just warning you, she's the type of girl who would still try to get with Anthony even though she knows he has a girlfriend..."

"Okay" I mutter a little taken back, "I trust Anthony completely, but thank you for letting me know!" I smile and hug Renée, I'm so glad she told me, it's definitely saved me a lot of awkwardness tonight.

"So how come she is coming anyway?" I ask Renée.

"I don't know, to be honest, none of us really liked her she was kind of mean to everyone- we just had to pretend to like her for Anthony's sake. Oak made it an open invite on Facebook and thought it would be fun to invite everyone from the Public. Although I don't think he really thought about who everyone would involve!" She chuckled and so do I, as the two of us get up and start getting into costume.

After the show, Jasmine, Pip, Renée and I all get changed and ready to go out. We take a while as we're busy chatting about whatever- it always takes longer that usual to get ready when it's the four of us getting ready together.

We eventually make it outside where the boys are waiting.

Anthony wraps his arms around my shoulder as we all set off to the club down the road that we planned to meet at.

Once we arrive everyone disperses either to the dance floor, or to the bar to get drinks.

That's when a tall girl with long brunette hair comes skipping towards us.

"Anthony!" She squeals engulfing him in a hug therefore his arm was no longer around me.

"Ashley?" He says, clearly taken back.

"I've missed you so much! It's so great to see you!" She says, not taking her hands off him. "And who's this?" She asks looking me up and down, sneering slightly.

"I'm Isabella," I says offering my hand to shake but she just stares at it instead.

"This is my girlfriend." Anthony says, moving over to me and wrapping his arm around my waist and squeezing slightly- I can tell he is uncomfortable.

"Right." She says glaring at me- jeez what is this girls problem? "Well Anthony come find me when you want to have some fun!" She says winking at him then trots off.

Anthony's POV:

Ashley. I can't believe she's here. Why didn't anyone tell me she was coming. We ended on really bad terms- she cheated on me but somehow twisted it around to make it seem like it was my fault. Once Ashley's gone to grind on some random drunk guy, I turn to Isabella.

"Babe I'm so sorry, that's Ashley, my ex girlfriend." I say looking at my beautiful current girlfriend who's clearly feeling ridiculously awkward right now.

"It's okay. Renée told me we'd probably see her here." She muttered.

"We don't have to stay if you want, we could go home, watch a few films..." I said trailing off. To be honest I'd be much happier going home with her than being here.

"No, no it's okay. This is our first night out with the cast in forever. We should stay, even if it's just for a bit" she said kissing my cheek. Isabella is right, although i can't stand the fact that Ashley is here too.

"Come on babe, let's find the others and go get some drinks, okay?" She said leading me to the dance floor.

"Okay." I smile looking at her. Man, how did I get this lucky?
