Grant's POV
The whole way to the boutique I couldn't help but stare at her. She was honestly gorgeous. I was one lucky guy. When we finally got there I quickly got out and walked to her door opening it. As we walked to the boutique she told me all about it. She even told me that she named it Lana after her mother Alana
When we got inside the small boutique I couldn't help but look around in awe. There were men and women's clothes, perfume and cologne, accessories, and shoes. I noticed a few people walking around and looking at the clothes that I noticed Rose designed.
I followed her through the boutique to a small room with a circular platform in the middle where a woman was waiting. The young woman standing next to her looked very annoyed. "Its about damn time. I've been waiting forever Rose!"
Rose just sighed with a smile on her face. "Sorry Leah. Been busy." She walked over to a small armoire by the wall and pulled out a sewing tape measure and a notepad with a pencil. "Can't stay long. Have plans. Or more so, my father has plans."
Rose's POV
I walked over to Mrs. Thompson, a usual younger customer, and starting measuring her to start designing. After getting that done and over with I asked what kind of dress she wanted, the occasion, venue, stuff like that, and started designing. By the time I was done I had a gorgeous medium length strapless dress drawn out.
When she looked at it she immediately fell in love. It reminds me of when I designed her wedding dress. It was the first time I had ever designed for her personally. Since then we had become close friends. I talked to her a bit more before she left.
I asked Grant to step outside really quick so I could talk to Leah. "Tell me all about it! Who is he!?"
Letting out a sigh I answered all of her questions. "Can you measure me really quick. I want to design my dress." I said as I stepped up on the small platform.
"Sure." She took all my measurement while I drew something out. I quickly took the measurements from her and stepped out grabbing grants arm and dragging him to the car. I drove to my favorite sewing store and told him to wait there, I ran inside and got everything I needed. I then ran back out to the car and drove home.
Grabbing my bags and running up to my huge craft room which I made sure was here as soon as I got here the day before, I started designing. About five hours later I made sure Grant wouldn't come in and tried on the dress I had designed. It was a gorgeous wedding dress, the dress I would wear for our wedding.
I changed back into the clothes I had already been wearing and put the dress into a box for safe keeping. Walking downstairs with the box grant said that we had to go to the venue since we had a couple of hours. Grant drove this time so I called Leah and told her to meet us there since I wanted her to be my maid of honor at my wedding.
Grant's POV
We got to the venue and walked in hand in hand. Before we went our separate ways I turned to her holding both her hands. "You do know you don't have to do this, right?"
"I know." She said giving me a soft smile. I gave her one back.
"Okay. Ill see you later, alright."
Nodding her head she said, "Alright."
"Alright." I said leaning my forehead against hers.
"Alright." She said closing her eyes.
"Alright." I said with a grin.
"Maybe alright can be our always." She said looking me in the eyes.
"Maybe." I sat there for a few seconds before slightly leaning in. She did the same. We finally kissed. I'd wanted to kiss her since last night. Her lips were just as I'd imagined, soft.
When we pulled apart I had a huge smile on my face and she did too as well as a slight blush. "Ill see you at the alter."
I reluctantly pulled away walking to the room where id be getting ready. I kept that smile on my face.
Rose's POV
As he walked away I leaned against the wall holding my box to my chest. I finally stood up straight and walked to where my bridesmaids were. By the time I was all ready I felt like a princess. Its not surprising considering who my father is.
I was ready to go but didn't feel ready. I was wearing something new, something old, something blue, and something borrowed. Something new: My dress. Something old: My mothers locket that I got with some of her other stuff when she passed away. Something blue: A bracelet that Grant got me while I was making my dress. Something borrowed: A pair of Leah's earrings.
I looked at myself in the mirror and gasped. I looked gorgeous. The dress I made fit perfectly and hugged my body showing off all my curves. Grabbing my bouquet I took a deep breath and got ready to walk out. My father walked up to my side by the doors that I'd be going through in just a few seconds.
He tried to explain and to apologize but I didn't listen. As soon as I heard our cue we went through the doors. I looked into Grants eyes and he looked at me with a genuine smile. When I got to him he grabbed both of my hands and whispered in my ear, "You look gorgeous, love."
Blushing and giving him a smile in return we started the ceremony. When we had to kiss I was ready. We shared a long passionate kiss. When we pulled away we leant our foreheads against eachother and had to catch our breath. The reception wasnt for a week so we immediately headed home. I plopped onto the couch falling asleep seeing as it was only around 5:45.
