It has been four years since it all started and I'm doing a great job at hiding who I really am, I'm even dating the captain of our football team, he's quarterback.

"Winter, are you ready to go?" Jason, that's his name, calls. My dad must have let him in. I put on a smile and grab my bag.

"I'll be down in a minute!" I yell as I throw on my shoes and run down the stairs. "Hey," I say softly and peck his lips.

"Our reservations are in an hour so we need to get going." He replies and starts walking out the door, I follow and climb in the passenger side of his crimson red mustang that I used to love. In all truth I love Jason, but he's so in the moment and is hard to take seriously.

On the way to a restaurant that I could never afford, neither of us say much. Finally, when we get there, I can nolonger stand the silence.

"How do they even fold the napkins to make them look like swans?" I ask wanting the silence to end before my thoughts can take over.

"It's origami, all it is is a series of folds." He shrugs and goes back to being silent, as if i wasn't there.

"You know what? I can't do this, I'm calling a cab and going home." I put on my bag and brush my auburn hair off of my shoulder.

"Winter, wait-" Jason tries to say but it's too late, I'm already out the door. I take my phone out of my bag as I near the curb.

"Great," I mutter to myself, "the battery is dead." I toss my phone back into my bag.

"Do you need help?" I hear somebody ask.

"No, that's okay, I'm just-" When I look over at who the voice belonged to I actually lose my ability to speak. This is the most gorgeous man I have ever seen. Is his hair black or dark brown? I ask myself. Oh, and his eyes, they were dark blue, yet had a certain brightness to them.

"Hello! Green eyes!" I faintly hear him yell and snap out of it. Oh my god was I staring? Crap! I cleared my throat as I felt myself blushing.

"Sorry, I'm uh, I'm fi-" My sentence cuts short when I'm pulled into an episode...

...I hear yelling but I can't make out the words. Oh my god, I'm standing in a pool of blood, was I bleeding? No this blood wasn't mine.

"Help him! You're the doctor! Why are you just standing there?! DO SOMETHING!!!" I make out a woman's cries and see her holding a young man in her arms. Her son maybe? He looked around the age of fourteen.

"I-I'm not a doctor.. I can't help..." I am not a doctor, I can't help them...

I come out of the episode in somebody's arms. When I am able to open my eyes I see him, the mystery man. I was in his arms, I then notice that we were in an alley. He must have carried me here.

"Get off of me!" I exclaim weakly.

"No, you're shaking. When you calm down I'll drive you home." He says with a kind smile.

"Why do I trust you? And why do you seem so familiar to me?" I ask him confused.

"Maybe you knew me, in another life." He smirks. Oh that song... in another life! I would be your girl!...wait, what was he saying?.."I'm Liam." He says.

"Winter." I respond. I calm down and let Liam drive me home. When we get there he walks me to the door like a gentlemen.

"Goodnight Winter,"

"Goodnight." I whisper and then realize that if this were the end of a date, now would be the part where he would kiss me. Out of a moment of panic I shake his hand and go inside.

Oh my god, why did I shake his hand? What did he mean 'in another life'? I take an advil for my headache along with a sleeping pill and go upstairs.

I'm going to bed.
