— hey guys! as you can see i haven't updated mother duck in awhile and the next chapter i publish isn't even that long....
so to make my profile not dead, i'll upload this little draft i made back in april, around the time i wanted to start writing mother duck! i've had the idea for awhile so this was the first scrap of writing i've done. but of course i abandoned it to make things better (worse for you guys bc y'all dont like it when i put tragedy oops)
first attempt of mother duck! here we go.

it was a full moon night. crickets chirped, annoying all the tired souls. birds migrated south for the winter in small little arrows. almost every room had at least a dim light shining through their curtains. almost every night with a full moon.
"you ready?"
taehyung ducked and moved back, making sure to not hit the window. he closed it shut and pulled the blinds down. aside his bed was a packed luggage and a backpack. his heart ached, but told him to move forward. taehyung clutched the handle with his sweaty hands. he looked at seokjin, who was waiting in front the doorway. seokjin was staring at the floor in devastation.
"i guess i am."
seokjin moved aside for taehyung to make way. "i'll take this." he offered to drag his luggage to the car.
four of his hyungs and a baby was scattered across the main room. once they saw taehyung come out, they stood straight.
one playfully smacked his shoulder. "hey. quit with the ugly face, will you? you're going to be in the acting industry. it's been your dream since you were small."
"i know, jimin. thanks." taehyung smiled, though only small curves on his mouth.
"text or call us, okay? you're not just going to disappear from our lives," namjoon said.
"v-ssi will be the next lee min ho!! woohoo!" hoseok cheered, suddenly dancing. again. he won a smile from taehyung.
"before i cry, i will leave. bye guys. i'll visit from time to time." he hugged all of them and waved before walking out that door.
they dragged themselves to the car. seokjin started the engine. he reversed into the street and drove off to the airport.

so it's pretty short but :) i meant that version to be taehyung entering the *jazz hands* acting industry! and when he moves, the same concept applies: fans following him everywhere like baby ducks. except woohoo theres a girl thats just so different that he falls in love 😩😩😩 and so they date 😩😩😩 and get married 😩😩😩 and get oppargnent 😩😩😩😩😩😩
