“oooffo someone open the door .”Riya shouted from the kitchen. “ these two argggggg .” saying this Riya moved to open the door.
Arjun and Nannu were in study room playing there all time favorite game Chess .
The person standing in the door was continuously ringing the bell ,
“coming coming ,ufff .”
Opening the door ,there standing THE MANIK MALHOTRA with a teddy of his size , carrying a lot of bags, with his all time devilish smile and look .Riya was shocked ,happy, tensed ,nervous and what not .
“Manikk….” Riya murmured
“Hello aunty ,hows u .” Manik replied as calmly as A Summer sea.
“i….I’m gud .” Replied riya stammeringly
“will you not let me enter too???.” asked Manik
“no ...no ...m really sorry ,please come inside.” Replied Riya nervously
“thankuu aunty .”Replied Manik coming inside and settling himself in the couch.
“Manik...u here ?I mean suddenly ?.” Asked Riya
“yes aunty ,actually I am here to sort out all the incomplete works and …” Manik said but interrupt by Arjun who came outside to see the sudden guest.
“what the hell is he doing here ?????.” Arjun said angrily seeing Manik in his house
“Arjun ,plzz don't shout be calm , Nannu is here .” Riya interrupt trying to handle the situation
“hmmm ,ask him to leave right now, I don't want my daughter to even see him .” said Arjun slowly trying to calm himself
“sorry to interrupt you uncle ,but I have something to inform u,or rather remind you , the day when you left Mumbai ,u promised Nannu something !!!!, I think u remember it very clearly ?? and today after 4 year I'm here to fulfills that promise only , and this time no one can take nannu away from me .” Reply Manik calmly
“listen ,don't u dare to....” Arjun said but got interrupted by nannu who came outside after waiting a lot for her papa ,who is outside busy having an argument with Manik
“Ma...manik …” Nannu ran towards Manik with tears in her eyes and hugs him
“Nannu .” Replied Manik with slight tears in his eyes.
Both found their peace in eachothers arms ,finally after so many years.
