When His Playmate is Sick...

Darn it.

I woke up late but this girl beside me is still snoring. Though her face looks pale...

Last week we almost--- I should remove that on my mind right now! I should have been more careful. Well as a man who loves her and lives with her,I also crave for her. That's the thing I should control.

"Hey,Kirino."I said as I try to wake her up. I felt her skin's temperature,it's so hot. I touched her forehead and her neck,she has fever.

"Oha *coughs*... Sei-kun..."she said and then she tried to rise from the bed and and stretched her arms. Her eyes seem to be half opened.

"Ohayo..."I said. "Anata wa Daijōbu ka?" (Are you okay?)I asked her.

She smiled at me. "I'm fine."she cooed.

I know she sounded very attractive that time but this isn't the great time to appreciate it.

"You are not fine."I said and then I made her go back to the bed. "You should rest."I said with a smile.

She nodded.

I went outside of the room to make breakfast for her. She will probably do the same thing if I was sick too. I saw Koujiro preparing his lunch box.

"Good Morning,Onii-chan."he greeted me. "Where's Onee-chan?"he asked me.

"She's sick."I said and then I put on the apron.

"Is that so?"he said and then he smiled at me. "Thanks for taking care of her,Akashi Onii-chan."he said and then he left the house. I felt myself smiling.

No one ever thanked me for the things I've done for them. They always thought that it's normal for me to do so. Even though I know Koujiro is on the way,I don't want to hurt him. He is one of the reasons why the Kirino and me get along well. Koujiro also thanks me for simple stuffs. That's why I can't imagine myself laying finger on him. He's too kind.

After I finished cooking,I opened the door to my room. I saw her playing something I've never played before. She mixed the pieces for Go, Shogi and Chess. She's playing something stupid.

"What are you doing?"I asked her as I close the door.

"Playing Orihara Izaya's game."she said and then I saw her smirked. More like,she's playing a human manipulation game. Thinking that everything's going to her plan.

"Step that aside,eat first."I said and then she inflated her cheeks.

"Can I eat and play?"she asked me. Though,she looks so cute when she asked me that question... I wanted to refuse but I can't bear to see her cry.

"Okay,Fine."I said but I really am against it. I think I have to spoil her for today's sake. She opened her mouth and then I fed her.

"Sei-kun,thanks for caring of me."she said with a smile while moving the pieces.

"Don't thank me yet."I said as I saw her chew her food.

"But the first person who took care of me is Sei-kun."she cooed and then she suddenly hugged me. "Thanks a lot,Sei-kun!"she said with a grin on her face.

"K-k-Kirino!!"I stammered. She almost spilled all the stew she's eating on me. We almost fell on the floor too. I heaved a sigh.

I didn't think she'd be like this when she's sick.

"Sei-kun,I love you!"she said as I cover her with blanket.

"I love you too..."I said while I'm squinting my eyes. She's so handful,my dear. "Now sleep."I said and then she suddenly inflated her cheeks.

"I won't sleep unless Sei-kun's not on my side!"she protested at me.

"Don't be--"

"So Sei-kun doesn't want to sleep beside me?"she said as tears form on her eyes.

"It's not like that."I said as I try to calm her down. I don't want to see her cry. It's making my knees hurt.

"Then why?"

I heaved a sigh. "Okay,I'll sleep beside you."I said and then I lied beside her. She hugged me and covered the half of us with blanket.

"Oyasumi,Sei-kun."she said and then she locked me inside her arms. When I peeked at her face,she was sound asleep already. I tried to get away from her hug but,it's pointless. Her hug is too tight for me to let go of it.

Somebody knocked on the door. I wanted to opened it but this girl won't let me.

"Yes?"I just said not too loud but,enough for him to hear. I know it's Koujiro because it's just the three of us in here.

He opened the door and looked at me. "Onii-chan,I'll prepare my own food so,don't worry about it."he said with a smile.

"Is that really okay with you?"I asked him. I'm a bit worried at this little kid.

"Yes."he said and then he glanced at Kirino. A smile formed at his lips. "You can just focus on my Onee-chan,Akashi Onii-chan."he said and then he closed the door.

"Kirino,why are you being this handful and possessive at a time like this?"I asked her even though I know there would be no response. I sunk my head on a pillow and just tried to sleep. It's pointless to struggle from her.

The next morning,I saw her dozing off on the side of the bed. She was wearing an apron already. I think she felt that I'm already awake.

"Ohayo,Sei-kun."she greeted me. She yawned and stretched her arms.

"Good Morning..."I said and by her looks,she better now.

"Thanks for taking care of me yesterday."she said with a smile on her face. "I owe you a lot."she cooed.

"Nah,it's nothing."I said and I tousled her hair. "You know I'd take care of the girl I love."I said and I cupped her chin. She swatted my hand on her chin and inflated her cheeks.

"Too early for your sweet cheesy lines."she said and then she pulled me up and brought me to the kitchen.

I was surprised to see the splendid looking breakfast at the table. Did she woke up so early to made this for me? It looks so delicious.

"That is made to be eaten,not to stare at."she said and then she dug in the fried rice and ate it. "That's my thanks for you."she said.

"Your welcome,then."I said and then I started eating it.

Something came into my mind. Does married couples look like this? If I'd be lucky that I can marry her,I guess I'll have a wonderful life.

Though,I'll make my ways to make her end up with me...
