A, A, R, O That Spells AARO!!

Chapter 1

Leo's Pov

I was sitting in my seat doodling on the back of my notebook in science. What my teacher was teaching I already knew so I took the liberty to draw. 

After her lesson she had an announcement to make. I stopped drawing and looked up to see what she had to say.

"Okay students! I'll be absent next week so please behave yourselves while I'm gone!" My science teacher announced. Everyone started talking, then my teacher pulled me aside.

"Leo I trust you to take charge next week while I'm gone. Help the substitute teacher out if they need anything. Stamp the planners okay?"

"Okay!" I replied with a thumbs up.

I started to think of reasons why she'd pick me and not anyone else. I'm socially awkward so I don't talk much, I do have a good grade in this class surprisingly, and I am friendly. I'm a good child! The bell rung and I continued on with school. It's the same old same old. The same people, same classes, same teachers. The last bell rang to dismiss us from school. I got out of my classroom, said bye to my friends, and left the school.

I plopped down on the couch in my living room. Tomorrow was Saturday. I was deep in thought until my twin,Troy, plopped down next to me. We just sat there for a moment. I decided to get up and do something productive. I sat up and started to do my week end homework and draw a little. I got done with math, history, and my favorite English! The only reason I liked English was because of my teacher! She was amazing and her class was always fun and exciting!

---Time Skip to Monday Cause you know I'm lazy----

Monday...I walked up to my science class where I knew I had to do stuff. I walked in greeted the sub and put my stuff down. I sat there for a minute till I got up to help the sub.

"Hi! I'm Leo my teacher said I'm helping you out" I made little hand gestures while speaking

"Wonderful! What does she do first?"

"Well she usually stamps the planners then does attendance. You could do attendance while I stamp the planners?" I put my hand on my hips.

"Sounds great!"

I walked towards my teachers desk and grabbed out the stamp. I started walking around the classroom while I stamped planners or didn't; it was depending on the person. One planner caught my eye while I was stamping it. On the side there were pronouns. "They/Them" it had on the side. I looked up at the person they had short dirty blonde hair and the most beautiful pair of light colored eyes you could find!

"Nice pronouns" I pointed out

"Why thank you m'lady" they said. We shared a laugh and I continued stamping people's planners.

The week passed by and every time I got to stamp their planner it would be the same. A good type of same tho. It was really nice. I also got to learn their name! It was Aaron. How cool? I also had other classes with them too!

I was at home thinking about how my science teacher would be at school Monday and how I won't be able to talk to them regularly like this week. I started thinking. Oh! We have the next class with each other so why don't I start walking with them? My sister walks in and takes a seat right next to me.

"What'cha thinking about?"

"This person I met this week"

"What's their name?"

"Aaron"

"I know them!"

"Really?"

"Yeah I even have their number"

"Cool!"

"If you ever want it come grab it from me!"

"Cool, thanks Troy"

"No problemo" she gets up and walks away even if she just got here! Whatever... If anything I can grab Aaron's number from Troy! Will that be okay? Maybe... Ugh! I just want to get to know Aaron! I guess I'll just draw right now... 

I sat down with my notebook opened to the last page and my pencil in hand. I started to draw and what came out on the paper was them...Aaron. It looked nice but I felt like I should draw something else. I don't want her to think I'm weird if I have loads of drawings of them on the back of my binder. I started to draw feathers and other things. I noticed the time, 12. I should go to sleep... I got ready for bed and closed my eyes only to drift into a peaceful sleep.
