"Mom, how do I get a new wand?"
Anne was cooking in the kitchen, preparing spaghetti and meatballs for the family. She didn't expect the sudden question from Harry, but she knew something bad had happened. She looked at him suspiciously, who was sitting on one of the dining chairs by the table, and crossed her arms over her chest. "And why do you need a new one?"
Harry glanced at the ground, rubbing his hand on the back of his neck. "Um..." he stuttered, swallowing hard after a long moment of silence. "I broke it?"
His mother was furious, gasping when she heard what her son had said. "Harry Styles! Do you have any idea how much it takes to get a new one?!" she shrieked.
"I know, I'm sorry! I'm so sorry," Harry apologized, but his mother wasn't having it.
"How can you be so irresponsible?" Anne shouted, leaning her head on the kitchen counter in frustration.
Harry was sad. Sad because his mother thought it was actually him who broke his wand. He knew she wouldn't believe him if he told her it was actually her husband. She definitely won't believe him that her husband also called her a bitch. It was all so fucked up, and he felt fucking bad for saying this to his mother now when she was on a break from her job.
"Harry, please just go away," Anne pleaded, mumbling swear words under her breath.
"Mum..."
"Just go!" she shouted, and it was so loud that Harry got scared enough to immediately put on his shoes and jacket to go out, not wanting to stress his mother more.
He sighed, inhaling the cold winter/spring air. Looking one time back at the house, he noticed his mum was now talking to his dad, probably complaining about how stupid her son was. His dad should be thankful for him not saying a word to her.
Harry looked at the wet ground as he walked through the neighborhood, feeling his heart break slowly and slowly. It was hard not having a wand with him everywhere. Feeling weak was something he hated so much, and he felt very weak now. Something needed to be done, and he needed to get his wand to work again like new.
After minutes and minutes of walking, and minutes and minutes of thinking, he finally came up with an idea. Actually, this idea popped up in his head the first time he looked down at his two wand pieces at the floor, but he just didn't think it would work.
"Maybe my wand just needs to be put together again, but really put together so it doesn't break again." he muttered to himself, frowning at the memory of his father breaking it in two. "Maybe I just need to fix it, but how the fuck do I do that?"
He was about to lie down on the ground and die, but then he felt warm arms wrapping around his body. A shriek almost came out of his mouth, before then he realized those familiar hands were Louis', his boyfriend.
Harry had missed him a lot.
"Hey there, baby." Louis whispered with a low voice, running his lips over Harry's ear, making the younger one shiver. He leaned more into him, licking his own dry ones.
Harry moaned at the feeling of Louis' hands under his shirt, touching his cold skin. "Why don't we just hang out at my place?" Louis suggested, kissing the boy's cheek.
"Y-Yeah."
Harry turned to face the beautiful Louis Tomlinson, who had a thin blue jacket on and a Slytherin scarf around his neck. His sweatpants looked so soft, and shoes were converse like always. The younger boy couldn't help but smile at the fact that this wonderful boy right here was actually his boyfriend.
Louis reached out and began stroking his cheekbone, giggles leaving his mouth. "Aren't you the cutest?"
