"Heh...This place again." I mumble. I start heading for the cor-door entrance to my hell. Shifting my eyes as I walk in, I see one of the Queens with her King.
"Welcome back, Alex! I hope your summer was well." The Queen said to me in a snobby remark, chuckling as they both walked away.
She knew what happened a week before school ended last year...
{Flashback to the end of 8th Grade}
"We're over Alex... We can't do this anymore... I love you but I love him too."
"..."
{Back to present time}
Tears poured down my face when I heard those words. I knew in that moment that we were over. I, the Queen, was defeated by a Joker disguised as a King, more rich than I.
*RRRRING*
I snap out of my mind and rush to my first class.
{Skip to Lunch period}
I sit alone, like normal. Looking to my right, I see him... smiling. Our eyes meet and I quickly whip away and sink into my seat.
'He's with his King. Don't bother him.' I think to myself. I feel arms wrap around me.
"Hey, Little sis. You feeling like a midget yet?"
"Hey Travis, I already did feel like that you giant!" I reply back to him, forcing a smile.
He bends over and talks softly into my ear, "Sis, I know that's not a real smile. You remember what that means?" He grins.
"oh no. Not the-!"
"TICKLE MONSTER!!" He yells as he tickles me. I laugh hysterically and smile.
He stops and I speak, "Thanks Brother. That go at least a smile out of me." I smile to him and he smiles while patting my back and going up to get lunch.
I look back down to my tray and peer over to him again.
'Thank Yeesus, He went up to get his lunch.' I thought as I sigh from relief.
I ate my lunch, walked my tray up, and ran out of there.
