You Qi POV
I'm pretty sure I'm being stalked, I don't know who it is, but since a week ago, I feel like someone's following me home. I had moved out of the dorms and into my cousin's house which is close to my school, there's always that feeling that I'm being watched.
I'm not sure who it is, but it creeps me out, I see their shadow up until I get to my front door and whoever it is, only lurks before the presence disappears. However recently it has got worse and I think the person stays and tries to watch through the window, even though I normally stay in my room on the second floor.
I'm not brave enough to confront them because I'm not sure who they are and whether they are armed or not. For a while now I've been thinking of various ways to get rid of the stalker, but I've come to the decision as to how I am going to try get rid of them.
I woke up to my alarm ringing and completed the puzzle which is required to silence it and get myself up. Otherwise I simply would not wake up as I have a habit of turning over and going to sleep after stopping the wretched sound.
I got dressed and ate breakfast as normal, but I was slightly faster in my pace as I needed to head to the bakery for Yang Meng's second last bun since it was Thursday today. I hurried out of the door with a croissant in my mouth and walked to the bakery.
I got inside the bakery and the baker smiled at me. "Same again lad? I'll add two small cakes for luck as well as I just want someone to test them", he said while packing the pastries into a paper bag and taking my money.
The baker's wife then came out from the back with a batch of cookies and put them into the display before turning to see me, "You Qi, here again for your girlfriend I see", she said. She often doted on how handsome I was and how she wanted a son like me and every time I'd just listen and smile at what she had to say.
"They're not really my girlfriend or in a relationship with me at all, but we made a deal and I'm giving them a bun for two weeks in exchange for a favour they did me", I stated the truth.
"Nonsense, this person obviously means a lot to you. You come into the shop smiling everyday now and before you had a handsome, but bored expression on your face and I hope you keep visiting this shop even the deal is ended. No, in fact I think you should bring this person here so I can size them up and see if this boy or girl is worthy for the likes of you in my eyes", she said enthusiastically and I pondered on the thought of bringing Yang Meng to the bakery, but shook it off a few seconds later.
"Thank you auntie, I will consider it", I bowed and thanked them for the food once again, before leaving the shop and continuing my way to school.
As soon as I got into school, I was surrounded by several girls, some offering snacks and others just plain flirting. I was so used to it and I'd normally disregard it altogether, but today I felt wary as it could be one of these girls who stalks me home. I pushed through the swarms of girls and when I reached my classroom, most of them dispersed.
Walking to my seat, I tapped Bai Luo Yin's shoulder to find the boy was sleeping. I was about to wake him when I felt a death stare piercing through my spine. Automatically it was clear that it was Gu Hai staring daggers into my back and because of this I stepped away from the sleeping figure and sat down on my seat. I did this just as the home room teacher walked in and the class president started roll call.
Lessons were boring, but who could expect anything less. As soon as class finished, I packed my stuff up and made my way to the shorter boy who was waiting at the door respectively waiting for my class to officially finish.
"Do you have it? I'm hungry You Qi", Yang Meng hadn't even greeted me and was already complaining. I chuckled and I saw him go for my bag eagerly, he quickly pulled out the bun and smiled widely.
