She walked up the path to her home it had been a long walk back. She sighed the restlessness growing inside of her. She rarely stayed in one place long and took every opportunity to leave her home city. She decided that soon she'd leave this city and her father to roam around for a bit maybe someday the restlessness would settle inside her and she'd find a place to live. She walked up to her fathers home, it was a small house on the outskirts of the city of Narre. She pulled her key from her pocket and unlocked the door then stepped inside. Shadows filled the corners of the main room, off to the side there was a bathroom and then straight ahead there were two doors leading to two bedrooms. She walked up to the door on the left almost hitting her hip on the table as she crossed the room, pushing open the door and she walked into her room. It was cramped and dark, her bed up against the wall with the only other things in the room being a dresser and desk. She dropped her bag on the floor, closing the door behind her before moving to lay down on the bed.
She pulled out the medallion
and stared at it for a moment while tracing her fingers along the edge.
