I am at my best friends sister's wedding. It was the evening, where mostly everyone was up and dancing to whatever songs that came on - whether they liked it or not. Dancing wasn't really mine 'thing' so I sat at the table where I sat by my group of friends. As I looked around, you saw your best friend socializing with her future brother-in-laws family. Since when was she so friendly? I thought. "She's probably being so nice for her sister..." I mumbled as my eyes wandered across the spacious venue. The theme had a warm feeling to it, there was no word in particular to describe it. But it was a theme in which no one could ever say it looked horrible or that it wasn't their taste. Not knowing what to do, I took a sip out of my drink hoping it'd made I a bit more refreshed and up for the night, yet it had no effect at all.
"I'm sensing that I was bored." My friend said to me whilst her eyes were still elsewhere. I turned my head around to face her,
"Bored?...No I'm just tired really." I lied. My friend let out a small laugh and stood up.
"Wanna go walk around this place?" she playfully put her arm around my shoulder as I looked up at her.
"Mm~ yeah I guess so, it's a big place so I guess it'd be fun to wander!" I beamed. Finally, away from the terrible music. Who picked this DJ?
We both left leaving my other friends at the table who had declined the invitation to walk around. I went through doors that I hadn't noticed before when I arrived, hoping it'd lead to a 'magical' place. Of course I knew that didn't exist so I wasn't disappointed to find random empty rooms. It seemed like I both were walking around in circles as doors led to previous ones I've been in before. The place seemed classy, the dark red carpets and the surroundings having intricate patterns on them. "This place is so nice, I want my wedding here now~" my friend clung onto my arm as she dragged me down the hallway, turning around the corner my friend bumped into a tall figure. "Ahhh, watch where you're going...idiot." my friend mumbled as her eyes diverted to this persons face. My eyes widened at knowing the person had heard, I tilted my head upwards to see a guy...in a tuxedo. His hair was short, styled very well and his eyes were capable of an eye smile that could make hearts pulsate way too fast.
"Not much damage was done anyway, you're still...." He looked at my friend from head to toe giving a disapproving look, shook his head and began walking away. Arrogant bastard.
"What?" he turned around raising an eyebrow.
"What?" ...Shit, did I say that out loud? I suddenly and awkwardly tried to avoid eye contact, I noticed my friend rolling her eyes at his comment towards her but at the same time tried holding in the laughter of the conversation that was about to come. The guy took a step closer towards me with hands in pockets,
"I dare you to say that again" he emphasized on the word 'dare'.
"E-eh? I didn't say anything?" I lied knowing it wouldn't have worked.
"Tch~" he smirked as he leant in closer to my face, I was about to step back before he grabbed hold of my wrist tight. I stood silently, turned my head to face to my right not wanting to look at him. He was getting closer as I felt his warmth near my neck. I gulped. "Hmm~"
"W-what?" I stuttered.
"You smell nicer than what you look like." From the corner of my eyes I could see a smile form on his pink lips. My eyebrows furrowed, was that an insult and compliment in one? Whatever it was; I couldn't help but smile for some odd reason. I couldn't help but feel nervous and fidgety the closer he got.
"Pervert." My friend mumbled but quiet enough for only I to hear. I rubbed the back of my neck stepping back quickly,
"A-ah erm, I have to go now." I took hold of my friends wrist only to be held back by him holding onto my wrist. Slowly turning back to face him, his eyes were filled with anger yet lust. Placing my other hand on his, I tried loosening his grip around my wrist but he wouldn't budge - not one bit.
