Oh my ra. What is she doing? Nikki continues her English presentation. About me. A poem.
"...So Eve, know I wear my heart on my sleeve, and please, stop friend zoning me." She finishes with a laugh. The whole class applause her. She walks to me and says,
"Eve, will you please be my girlfriend?" What? This is so unexpected. I never knew she liked me! I thought we were friends! People call out things like 'say yes'. What do I say? 'Say yes you idiot' my mind tells me. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding in.
"Yes!"

By lunch time the news had spread. People kept coming up to me saying they didn't know I was lesbian. I'm not. I don't have a label. If anything, I would be Pansexual (No, I don't make out with frying pans), but I choose not to give myself a label.
"That was so sweet, what you did, Nikki." I say, holding her hand.
"Anything for my baby girl" She says pecking me on the cheek. I can't believe Nikita is my girlfriend! I'm so happy! We sit down at a lunch table, with all our friends. They all wish us congratulations.
"Soooo" Jacey nudges me. "Who's the top" Everyone burst out laughing, I just blush and lean back into Nikki, who's lap I'm sitting on. I hear her chuckle.
"Well, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it, hey Eve." She says kissing my neck.
"Yea." I simply agree
"Eve is blushing!" Jacey squeals.
"Jacey, shut up!" I hush, blushing even more.
"Don't worry, it's okay to be a bit shy," My girlfriend say, squeezing my waist.
"I'm not shy!" I protest.
She chuckles, "Of course not."
"Is this set taken?" I look up to see Adam, sitting down in front of us, not waiting for an answer.
"Yes, actually. Not that it matters to you." Nikki says glaring at him. He glares back. Lets just say, Nikki and Adam are not the biggest fans of each other.
"I hear you two got together."
"Yes. We did." Nikki tightens her grip on me.
"Hm. Interesting"
"How so?" I ask him.
"Oh, no reason... I just thought you'd be into more, ya know guys. Guys like me."
"Well too bad. She's into me. Not you."
"I think Eve can speak for herself." He looks to me.
"Er..." I say. "I like Nikki"
Nikki smirks and Adam looks defeated.
"Well, the bible-"
" The bible said! P-l-e-a-s-e! No one wants to hear it!" The table gets quite. No one wants to mess with Nikki.
"The bible says, Adam and Eve, not Nikita and Eve." Well, maybe no one except Adam.
"She's Eve, and I'm Adam. Do the math"
"She's my girlfriend, not yours. You do the math!"
"Fine, go to hell."
"Don't get me started." Nikki rolls her eyes.
"If you believe me and Eve are going to hell, raise your hand" She says to the whole table. No one does. She smirks in satisfaction.
"Now. Excuse us. We're going." Nikki says. I climb of her lap, she takes my hand walking of, but not before she shoots Adam an evil glare.
"I don't think so." Adam walk to us until he is standing in front of Nikki.
"Oh? Now what do you think your doing, getting all up in my space?"
"I know Eve isn't a f*ggot like you." I tense. Did he just use the f-word?
"What. Did you just call me?" Nikki is really upset now.
"I call you a f*g cause you are one."
The room is quite now.
Then I hear the sound of Nikki's fist colliding with Adam's face.

"Nikita, what do have to say for yourself?" Our principle asks her.
"That Adam was being a jerk an I had every right to punch him."
Luckily, before the fight got really bad, a teacher stepped in, and now us three are sitting in the principles office.
Miss Lockheart takes a sigh of annoyance.
"Mrs Lambert. What is your take on this." She looks to me.
"Um... Well, Adam was being rude and he provoked Nikki." "And he deserved it," I add.
Adam looks betrayed.
"Well, girls, with what you've told me, I agree that he deserved it. However, I cant let you go without punishment. Nikita, lunch time detention. Adam, also, lunch time detention. For a week."
"What?!" Adam says
"That's all." Misses Lockheart excuses us.
We leave, and I hug Nikki. "I have the best girlfriend ever" I say. She smiles. "I have the best girlfriend ever" We cuddle all the way home.
