I slipped on my hoodie, or Ethan's hoodie, and threw on some leggings. I paired it with my adidas superstars, and threw my hair up into a bobble. Ethan had said that we weren't going anywhere fancy, just somewhere that he knew I'd like.
I trusted him, joining Ethan at the apartment door before waving goodbye to Grayson.
It's been a couple days since I sort of moved in with the twins, and it's going well. It's better than I expected, I feel so free and genuinely happy.
We got into the car, immediately starting to drive towards wherever Ethan was taking me. I had no clue, but the me smirk on his face said it all.
I looked at Ethan and laughed as he pulled into the familiar parking lot, which made him grin wider than ever.
" did you really bring us to the discount diner, Ethan? " I giggled, as he got out and so did I, locking the door behind us and heading towards the glowing sign, the sign that brought me into the diner the night I met Ethan.
We pushed open the door, the bell ringing like the last time which made me smile. The girl behind the desk was the same girl, who shot me a toothy grin this time. I smiled back, being told to get a table by Ethan while he ordered.
I sat down, deliberately at the exact same table I sat at the first time. I looked at my surroundings, a completely empty diner, eyeing the table that Vallery and her new and very bitchy boyfriend once sat at. I then looked back at the counter, watching Ethan, who ordered our drinks and food.
In the corner of my eye I spotted a piece of paper, shoved down the side of the seat I was sat on. I looked closer, pulling it out to reveal the same exact magazine that I'd been reading when I met him. I smiled at the thought, flipping through the pages. As soon as I reached the familiar Kardashian spread, it was yanked from my face yet again, just like when we met, and Ethan was sat in front of me with a smirk.
" hi, I'm Ethan " He smiled cheekily, my black coffee now on the table.
I knew what he was doing, smirking back as I looked at the boy I've really grown to love.
" I'm Skylar " I said, Ethan grinning as he extended his hand.
I looked at it, before raising my hand, shaking his and nodding.
" nice to properly meet you " Ethan smiled, shaking it before I burst into a fit of giggles, as did he....
Never in a million years did I think I would've fallen in love with the boy I met in a diner, over something completely pretend.
" everyone you meet has a part to play in your story. And while some may take a chapter, others a paragraph, and most will be no more than scribbled notes in margins, someday, you'll meet someone who will become so integral to your life,
