Chapter One

Akari's P.O.V.
“Do you know it’s time to let yourself go…. Hmm hmm.” Looking outside the car from the back seat to the right I sang glorious by cascada to myself, almost inaudible. The rain attacking against the window and sliding down in defeat. The drumming of the rain on the rooftop making a rhythmic beat ‘tap’  ‘drip’  ‘tap’  ‘tap’ ‘drop’ ‘tap’  ‘drip’ ‘tap’ ‘tap’  ‘drop’ looped.  Rain… Something that clears my mind and washes away all my worries.  Remembering that day, the car cr-
“My lady, we have arrived.” My butler Soushi Miketsukami announced.
“Arrived where?”
“At Konoha High School.”
“But were supposed to be going to Kirigakure High School, Soushi?”
“Milady, we have moved houses meaning you have to move schools as well.”
“But... I didn’t say my farewell to Mangetsu…” I frowned.
“You did.” He lied.
“Oh.”
The side door opened inviting a cold breeze to enter making me shiver. A white glove extended towards me.
“Milady, come on out now.”
“Why must you call me milady? I have a name you know, I prefer you calling me by my name.”
“Alright then Milady. Oh I mean Akari.”
I took his hand and got out of the black, rich car.
“Who is that, Soushi?” I asked curious.
“That’s the headteacher, Miss Tsunade, she has been waiting for us to arrive.”
“Oh okay then.”
“Hello there Akari Lontay and Soushi, welcome to Konoha High School!”
“Please follow me.”

“Good morning Kakashi.”
“Good morning Tsunade.”
“Good morning everybody, we have a new student. Her name is Akari” Tsunade showed everyone who I am.
“Well then, everybody. Would anybody like to be her buddy?” Kakashi questioned the whole class.
The majority of them weren’t paying attention, only some paid attention they were at the front of the class.
“It’s okay Mr. Kakashi, Soushi can stay with me.”  I said in a timid voice.
“Um Tsunade? Is Soushi allowed to stay?”
“We don’t allow this…” Tsunade said and my face saddened “But just for today Akari.” I quickly looked at Soushi and smiled at him and he to smiled back at me.
“Thank you, m’aam!”  I sang out happily.
“Oh! Kakashi-Sensei!!! Can I be her buddy!?!?” A boy with blonde hair and amazing blue eyes of hope and determination shouted out.
“Naruto! You cannot just shout out whenever you want; put your hand up when you want to say something.  And yes you may be her buddy, Naruto.” Kakashi scolded Naruto.
‘So that’s his name… Naruto…’ I thought.
“Akari go sit next to Naruto please.” Kakashi spoke breaking me apart from my thought.
“Sorry?”
“Go sit next to Naruto.” He repeated again.
“Where am I?” I stepped back.
I saw Soushi swiftly walk over Kakashi’s desk whispering something to him.
“Soushi…?”
“Milady, follow me.” I obediently followed him; I trusted him. He was the only person who could understand me. I followed him and he brought me to a spare seat next to Naruto.
“Naruto will be your buddy” He placed his hand on my right shoulder.
“No! Where’s Mangetsu!!??” I cried out loud and ran out of the classroom with tears welling up in my red eyes.

“Is she mental or something?” I heard a boy shout out as I ran past him.

All the memories came flooding back into my head, they wouldn’t go away, they pained me.
I kept running and running and runni-
‘BUMP’
“Ahh” I yelped I felt myself falling and I didn’t know what to do and closed my eyes tightly waiting for the pain to hit me. Waiting… Waiting…
“Y’know you can open your eyes now.” A voice said.
I opened one of my eyes peeking at was waiting for me. It was a boy. With a lazy expression and a black ponytail. Fully opening both of my eyes, I saw that he was holding me by my waist and the other hand holding my forearm.  
“…”
“…”
Silence. Until I spoke.
“M-Mangetsu..?” The tears still in the corner of my eyes, I looked up at him innocently.
“No, I’m Shikamaru. Shikamaru Nara.”
“Milady!” I heard Soushi running towards me.
“Are you okay?!”  He separated me from Shikamaru.
“I thought I told you not to call me Milady?”
He just sighed and smiled at me.
“Sorry Mi- Akari. Anyway we have to head back to Mr.Kakashi’s class, Akari.”
“I’m heading there right now.” Shikamaru said.
“Oh good and your name is?”
“Shikamaru Nara.”
“Okay Mr.Nara.”
“Nahh, just call me Shikamaru.”
“Alright then.”
Being me I skipped ahead of them while they Soushi and Shikamaru were just talking.
“Shika! Soushi! Are you coming or what?” I giggled.
Shikamaru blushed slightly at hearing the nickname he was given.
‘What a funny girl. And how does a girl like her know Mangetsu…? He’s in that group. The Seven Swords Men of the Bloody Mist…’ Shikamaru thought as he caught up with me and Soushi as we walked a little faster.
