It's late at night when Lydia texts me. I've pretty much have just been lazin' around since I got home.
Want to go to the store with me?
You cant go by yourself?
It's late. I don't want to go by myself
Ugh. Fine.
Great. See you in 5
I hurry up and change really quick so i at least look decent enough to go out of the house. It doesn't take long for Lydia to get here. I go out the front door as quietly as I can. My moms asleep but I don't want to wake her, or get in trouble.
I open the passenger door to her car and get in."Hey," I say
"Hey, thanks for coming with me."
"Yeah, of course."
The rest of the drive there we don't really talk much, just listen to music.
"So why do you need to go to the store?"
"I have a headache. Need some more medicine."
"Okay."
We get to the store and we both get out of her car. She's looking at her phone while she's walking. I look around for a moment and realize, we aren't at the store. We're at the pool.
"Lydia, this isn't the store."
"I know that," she responds
"How come neither of us realized this until just now?"
"I don't know."
We look around and try to remember how we got here. Lydia takes a few steps forward towards the pool.
"Oh, god," I hear her say and she covers her mouth.
"What?" I look over the pool and see what she saw. A dead body. Floating on the top of the water.
I cover my mouth as well, mostly from shock. I stand next to Lydia, both of our faces are astounded. We take a few more steps forward to get at better look.
"Oh, my god. Oh, my god, please don't be dead," I sorta of whisper.
We're now bending over the pool when Lydia reaches out and touches the body and turns it over. Are you kidding me? It's just a dummy used for training.
Lydia looks down at her hands and sees blood. She is beginning to hyperventilate. We look up and see an actual dead body. And now, we're screaming.

Lydia are just standing there, neither of us know what to say. Then I see bright headlights on Stiles jeep pull up. He rushes out of his car, "Bella? Lydia?"
"Bella, you guys okay?" He asks
"I'm okay," Lydia says
"Bella?" He asks and look at me.
"Y-yeah. I'm fine."
"That, over there, not okay," Lydia says.
"Yeah, alright. I'm gonna call my dad," Stiles told us
"We already called 911," I tell him
"You called the police before you called me?"
"I'm supposed to call you first when I find a dead body?" I ask him. Why in the world should I have called him first?
"Yes!" He yells, it sort of makes me jump. I'm a little shaken up. Next thing I know Stiles is talking to Scott on the phone. I'm standing here trying to comfort Lydia. No matter what I say, I'm not fine. I just found a freakin dead body. Not even a week into moving here.
***
I'm sitting on my bed once again. Stiles took Lydia home after the cops came. He wanted to take me home so I didn't have to walk but I insisted he took Lydia.
My phone started buzzing and I saw the caller ID said 'Stiles Stilinski' so of course I answered it.
"Hey," he said
"Hey."
"I know you're probably tired of everyone asking you this but, are you alright?"
"Stiles,"
"Yes?"
"I just found a dead body. I have no idea how I got there, one minute I looked out the window I was at my house, the next Lydia took us to the pool. No I'm not alright."
"Oh yeah that was more of the answer I expected."
"Oh, sorry that was rude. Sorry I'm just really tired," I said. I didn't mean for it to sound rude I've just had a long day.
"It's okay. You should go. Get some sleep," Stiles told me.
"Alright, thank you."
"For what?"
"Making sure I was alright."
"Of course," he said and I don't know why but it made me smile.
"Goodnight Stiles."
"Goodnight Bella."
