My eyes slowly open to a beautiful morning ahead. I glance over to the couch to see Ethan still sound asleep. A few minutes pass by and I sit up in the bed just looking around for a minute. Once I think I'm ready to get out of bed, I walk over to the window and quickly pull back the curtains. I take a deep breath, taking in all my surroundings of once again, the freshness of how I feel and how it feels here. The sun looks as if it is floating over the gulf. My eyes drift off to other places to discover more places I had never seen like an adventure through my vision. The syline is amazing. The tall skyscrapers mostly look like glass and the sun reflects off it. It is so beautiful.
I grab a towel and wash cloth and then I head off to the shower. I blow dry my hair and then curl it. Curling my hair by the way is not something I do alot. I have always been more of a tomboy but yet I still have a girly side. I don't mind getting dirty but I love getting all dressed up and going out. Normally, I'll just leave my hair down and straighten it, somedays I'll pull it up in a bun or a ponytail, somedays I'll scrunch it, and somedays all I will do is brush it.
I mean, when I was a little girl, I loved to play with my toy trucks and then I would go dress up in my " Lil' Ballerina " too too or my Cinderella dress. I would have mini tea parties with my friends and we would trade out our Barbie dolls. But I would always chase the boys around the playground and we would trade out our Hot Wheels cars.
After I finished my hair, I did my makeup. After that I rushed over to the closet with my towel still wrapped around me. Then, I put on my bra and underwear ( I know. Right now you're probably saying " TMI! ". After standing there thinking about what to wear for about 3 minutes, I finally choose something. I chose a cute dark blue dress that I got with some also dark blue heels. But the heels had skinny white stripes on them, too and were kind of open toed. But if you a girl and know what I'm talking about and understand how adorable this is, good. But if you are a boy, well, I'm sorry. Go look it up.
I was ready and Ethan had already gotten his shower, too by the time I got out of the closet. He is much faster than me. We both finished getting ready, brushed our teeth, and headed out. We decided we wanted to walk because we wanted to and because it would save money from the taxi ride. We walked into a small coffee shop called Drew's Coffee and Cake. But I didn't really understand it because they ended up not barely having any cake. We sat at one of those tall tables in the middle of the room. The place was sosphisticasted and modern but it still felt warm and sweet inside. Homey and calm. I really liked it in there and they have great food and drinks. I got a frappe with a blueberry bagel and Ethan got a cappecinno with a ham and cheese croissant.
We left and walked around for a while. Walking down the sidewalk, we began to have some problems though. Besides from scary old men following us around, there was other creepy things. One guy walked up to Ethan with all black yelling at him.
" Give me the money! Give me the money! The money or the girl! Pick yo side, man! Pick yo side! "
The guy said putting a gun to my head in demand for the money. I looked at Ethan in terror. The pressure on my head from the gun on my head was hurting so bad and I felt completely hopeless. I looked at Ethan and saw the sudden fury on his face that he just got because of the shock he was in before.
" Help! Help! Please! " I yelled being interupted by his hand being put over my mouth so that nobody could hear.
Ethan struggled to get him off me, his face covered in red. The man pulled me, the gun still to my head, into a dark and deserted back ally. I looked back, tears in my eyes.
" Help! Please! Please help me! " I cried out uncontrollably as I was thrown up against a brick wall. I tried to keep begging out for help but my voice was fading out. It felt like a was yelling as loud as I could but only a pitiful little squeal came out. I felt hopeless and that my life was over. Abandoned.
But then, I looked over to see Ethan dodging forward at the fastest I had ever seen anybody run in my entire life. The look on his face looked like he was about to kill someone. And before I knew, before my eyes and mind could even process what just happened, Ethan flew up, tackling the man down like a football player acked up on steroids. The man was thrown to the ground. Ethan lost all control, puching him the face about 10 times until he was knocked out. He got the pistol and threw it in the gabage can near the end of the ally.
Rain began pouring down and lightning struck. Thunder boomed, causing me to flinch in fear from what had just happened. I sat curled up against the wall to attempt to comfort myself. I stood up, my hands grasping the bricks. Ethan then ran over to me and hugged me so tight that I could barely breath.
Still crying a little, I said " I love y_ "
His lips crashed against mine in passion and love. He felt so strong, his arms wrapped around me tightly. I wanted it to last forever. And it might have lasted a half of a minute. Rain pouring we got back to the hotel. The day seemed so short it almost felt impossible. Even in the hotel room it didn't stop. We kissed, one hand gently tugging my hair, the other pulling off my shirt while I did the same to his pants until things went further.
