Nino paused a moment before lifting the trap door and entering the room,

"Adrien, you never told me you liked Marinette. You had me believing you were crushing on another girl and that I could actually be with Marinette. Why did you lie?" Nino blurted after entering.

Adrien froze, choosing his words carefully, "I didn't want you to give up your chances with Marinette because of me."

"Well you should of told me, it hurts to find out that you can never be with the one you love because your perfect model best friend is the one she likes and she's the one he likes," He snapped.

"Hi, remember me? The girl who's in love with you but you rejected then kissed? Yeah, well I'm standing right here, so if you could stop talking about true love and shit before I get akumatized." Alya interjected.

Nino glanced at Alya's hurt expression and turned away.

"You kissed her?" Marinette asked.

"I don't know why, I just did." Nino answered.

"It was just a pity kiss though, right Nino? It meant nothing to you," Alya responded.

"No, that's not true. It meant something." Nino whispered.

"How could it mean something if you're in love with my best friend? It meant something to me, not you." She stormed out of Marinette's room.

"Wait Alya! It did mean something! I'm just not sure what," Nino called after her.
