  Our world is so corrupted with hate
  No one even cares about their fate
  Love is no longer sentimental
  The desire for it drives us mental
  It's became no more then an illusion played from drugs
  While downing alcohol by the jugs
  We beg for freedom
  Chaining others down while losing our wisdom
  How do we expect to be free
  When all we do is plea
  We don't act on it
  Yet alone do what we seem fit
  We let others boss us around
  While we act proud
  Happiness is no longer real
  It's something we seek to feel
  We wear a mask
  Being happy now seems like an impossible task
  You drown yourself in alcohol to mask the pain
  But how will that feel when it has you slain
  You act tough
  Like nothing is enough
  Even though you beg to be saved
  Your mind has you enslaved
  And your body has you held captive
  So you just let it happen
  "You're just a kid here
  To young to be taken by a tear"
  Are you kidding me
  Can you not see
  Are you that oblivious to the world
  That you just can't emotionally afford
  To lift others up higher
  As if you are their sire
  You see them take a fall
  "They are to small"
  You'd rather watch them cry
  And question why
