Chapter 4 - Truth or Dare

I had my ear pressed against the wall that divides Hayes and Rebekah's. I couldn't hear much of Hayes talking but I definitely heard Bekah. "She's trying to flirt with all of the guys, I can tell. I just don't want you hanging out with her. She may be Shawn's sister but that doesn't give her the right to be flirting with all of the other guys."

Wait, what? Shai isn't 'flirting' with all the other guys. She knows all of them very well, just like Alice does. For God's sake, their brothers are members of Magcon. If anything, it's Rebekah that's like that. She was being pretty 'friendly' to Carter. Can I say that again?

Carter. Reynolds.

While she's dating Hayes.

If Zoë finds out about this, there's no turning back. Rebekah will be outta here.

Grabbing my room key and phone, I headed down to where I knew Shai was, in Cam and Nash's room with Alice and Zoë playing truth or dare with Carter, Matt, Taylor, Della, Lox, Jacob, and Ki. I knocked, Nash opening the door and he smiled at me. "Come on in!" He said cheerily, leading me to their Truth or Dare circle around the room.

I found Shai and sat down near her, tapping her on the shoulder. "Shai .. Hon säger saker om dig (Shai, she's saying things about you)." I said and she started laughing, while the other girls laughed. "Vem, Rebecka? Vad sa hon (Who, Rebekah? What'd she say)?"

Cam rolled his eyes with a smirk. "You girls and your Swedish." He said, shaking his head. "You can tell us everything, Bekah isn't around." Nash said and I still shook my head. "I can tell you parts, but not all." I said. Lox looked at me like she was confused.

"Ok so Bekah's been telling Hayes that Shai was trying to flirt with all of the guys that aren't Shawn, and I don't even know why she'd say that. Now Zoë, Jag såg henne bli lite vänligt med Carter igår och (I saw her getting a little friendly with Carter over there)." I started, but Zoë exclaimed back in Swedish. "Åh det är det! Hon är härifrån (Oh that's it! She's outta here)!"

All of the girls started busting out laughing, and the guys didn't know why. "Calm down, ZoBug! It'll be okay!" Lox said, giggling. There was another knock at the door, and Nash got up to get it. It was the others. And by the others I mean Taylor, Hayes, Rebekah, Shawn, Lisa, the Jacks, and Aaron.

They joined the circle and we started a real game. Shai went first.

"Okay, Shawn, truth or dare?" I asked, watching my twin smirk as I played with my hot-pink curls I dyed a month ago. "Dare." He said, his brown eyes seeming hazy when they looked over at me. I thought about what I'd have him do for a minute. Then, it hit me. "I dare you to call Aaliyah and tell her that you're pregnant." I said, almost losing myself to laughter as I said that.

It was only funny because Shawn actually did it. "Hey.. Aaliyah?" He asked through the phone, almost dying of laughter. "Yeah Shawn?" I heard her say through speakerphone. Shawn hesitated but then went on with it even though half of the room was rolling on the floor without making any sounds, just clapping their hands together silently like retarded seals. "I'm pregnant." He finishes, cracking up right at the 't'.

Aaliyah hung up. "Okay, Gilinsky, truth or dare?" Shawn asked as he tried to recollect himself. "Dare." Jack said, already regretting what he said previously. "I dare you to bro-propose to Cam with this bagel." Shawn said, grabbing a bagel off of the table and handing it to Gilinsky.

Cam and Jack were standing up. Gilinsky bent down on one knee. "Cameron Alexander Dallas, you're a wonderful person, an amazing friend, and an even better Super Ultra Mega Bestie, but not as good of a Super Ultra Mega Bestie as Johnson. Cam, I want to spend the rest of my life annoying the one that's special to me. Cameron, will you bro-marry me?" Jack said, almost cracking up at every sentence. Cam nodded his head, took the bagel, sat down and started eating it. Alice was laughing really hard, considering her boyfriend just got bro-proposed to with a bagel by Jack Gilinsky.

He shoved the entire bagel in his mouth. "Okay, Ki, truth or dare?" Gilinsky asked, and everyone knew what Ki would pick. "Dare." She said, all of us smiling about what was about to happen. "You have to be pretend married to Sam for a full five minutes."

Ki rolled her eyes. "Can I get a divorce?" They both said in unison. Don't get me wrong, the two of them are friends and everything, but they don't like each other in that way. Jack eventually agreed and they both started laughing.

"Rebekah, truth or dare." Ki said and I mentally facepalmed. Like I actually want to hear anything from her. "Truth." She said, leaving me laughing on the inside.

Pansycake, I thought to myself as Ki asked her the question. "Do you enjoy the book or the movie more?"

Bekah rolled her eyes. "The movie. Books are boring."

Oh no she didn't.

Oh. No. She. Didn't.

"Hey girls, not to ruin the game or anything, but Bart needs us, including Lox downstairs to talk about things. We'll be back, ok?" Aaron said and we nodded, me waving to him and them getting out the door.

Rebekah rolled her eyes. "Ugh, finally! I was tired being forced to play nice around you guys!"

She started walking around the room. "Now I can finally get what's off my mind!"

She stopped at Zoë. "You know Carter doesn't like you, why bother trying to make him?"

Then Lisa. "Just because your boyfriend is good at music doesn't mean you are. If I were you I'd just stick to keeping my mouth shut."

The anger kept on boiling inside of me as she went onto me. "You're just one of the single loners of the group." She said and I smirked.

Oh, but am I?

She went onto Alice. "I don't even see how Cameron could bear cuddling with a stick." She said, grabbing her skinny arm and Alice jerking it away from her.

Then Wendy. "And look at you. Just another fangirl adoring Nash from afar. Don't keep your hopes up, kid."

Then Della. "Taylor's only dating you because you probably paid him."

The anger keeps on building up as I see her go up to Ki. "You know, Gilinsky really does think I'm better than you. At least, that was what he was saying when I kissed him last night."

I completely snapped. Getting up, I looked at her face-to-face but felt two sets of hands grab my ankles in attempt to stop me. "Shai, don't." Wendy said and I looked down at her.

Rebekah smirked. "Yeah, Shai. Don't. I bet you that you won't do anything." She said.

Lifting up my fist, I barely noticed the door had been open for quite some time before my clenched fist connected with Rebekah's jaw in one swift motion. I felt the bones crack under the pressure of my punch and watched her stand back.

She spit her blood from her mouth onto the carpet as the boys and Lox stood there in shock. "Wanna talk more smack about my best friends, or are you gonna learn to shut your mouth?" I stepped towards her, but two strong sets of arms wrapped violently around my shoulders so I couldn't move. It was Taylor and Aaron.

I looked around at the room.

Blood dripping from Rebekah's chin.

Wendy and Alice were crying.

Lisa was telling Shawn everything.

And Hayes. He was just sitting there, still in shock of what happened.

I knew he saw the punch but I also knew he heard the last line she said to Ki.

Wriggling out of their grasps, I went over to the girls. "Shai.. I think you broke her jaw!" Zoë said, tears welling in her eyes from what Rebekah had said to her.

"I told you I would." I said.
