III

Two days later, Remus was late for class.
He hadn't been able to sleep since the meeting with Sirius.
He just couldn't stop thinking about him.
He groaned. Why hadn't his alarm gone of yet?
Shit! He thought.
He turned around to take a look at his clock on the wall.
(Yes he did have one of those don't judge his old fashioned sense!)
It was quarter to ten.
His class begun at ten.
Remus hopped out of his bed, quickly put on sweatpants and a plain t-shirt.
He then grabbed a toast from yesterday on the counter and ate it on his way across campus with his book bag across his upper body. He didn't have time to style his hair or brush his teeth.
He arrived five minutes too late.
He walked in the room quickly, looking for a place to sit. He looked at Lily but the seats next to her was taken. In fact every seat was taken. Except for one.
The one next to Sirius.
He really didn't want to sit there after his awkward goodbye.
Sirius also noticed that he had to sit next to him and wiggled his eyebrows and smirked. Then he locked eyes with Remus in a suggestive manner.
Remus screamed internally and wanted to run out of the building.
But he didn't. Something was keeping him from doing so. Maybe because I want to have good grades? He thought. Or the fact that he had to sit next to Sirius.
He rolled his eyes and slowly walked to the empty seat.
He then sat down, moving as far away as possible from Sirius.
After thirty minutes he looked down in his notebook only to find a message in it.
You're late. Is everything okay?
It read in a neat hand writing.
He scribbled back
Wtf Sirius I'm trying to learn! Be quiet.
But I am quiet.
Shut up Emo guy.
Emo guy? Is that a revenge because of moon boy?
Yes it is please use another nickname.
Hey pretty boy?
Yeah?
Dinner at 7?
Fine...
Sirius grinned like a kid in a candy shop.
Remus rolled his eyes another time.
If only I got a dollar every time I rolled my eyes. Remus thought.

"Why did I say yes to this Lily? I'm so stupid!" Remus said and paced back and forth in his room.
"Come on Remus! He didn't mind last time I'm sure he won't mind now either."
"But what if he takes me to this fancy restaurant? He comes from a rich family!" Remus stressed.
"Ok I'll help you!" Lily said and put her arms up in surrender.
She found some khaki pants and a nice sweater. Typical Remus.
"But that looks exactly like me everyday!"
"Yeah but you're supposed to be yourself."
"Yeah sure." He mumbled before he changed to his new clothes.

"James! I swear I will kill you if you don't open that door now!" Sirius shouted at his best friend.
"No! I just need five minutes!"
"I have to fix my hair!"
"I don't fucking care!"
Sirius groaned.
How on earth was he so stupid to move in with James?
Sirius waited. After ten minutes, James was finally ready.
"That's five minutes too late you wanker!" Sirius said and punched him in the arm.
"Ouch!" He exclaimed and rubbed his arm.
"Why are you so desperate about using the bathroom? Where are you going? A date?" James said and wiggled his eyebrows.
"Yes, as a matter of fact I am. Now move out of my way or I'll make you." Sirius said.
"Yeah, yeah. But with whom is the date?"
"Go fuck yourself!" Sirius yelled and closed the door.

"He was supposed to arrive here at 7. Now it's five to seven!" Remus said and paced back and forth.
"Maybe he forgot? Or I'm just stood up." Remus said with a frown.
"Hey don't say that! I'm sure he'll come soon just wait. He might be stuck in traffic." Lily said and patted his back in a comforting way.
"But you know what happened last time. I don't want that to happen again." Remus said and a dark shadow of the past flew over his face.
A knock was heard on the door and before Remus even thought about opening it, Lily was already talking to Sirius.
Behind Sirius a long boy appeared.
Must be James. Remus thought.
His thoughts were confirmed when Sirius said " I couldn't leave without him, he made me do it or I would have to clean his underwear."
"Did not!" James shouted and stepped inside, with Sirius following after.
Sirius was dressed in his normal leather jacket, only this time he had styled his hair in a man bun instead of letting it loose.
"Bye James!" Sirius said and linked arms with Remus.
Before Lily could even protest, they were gone.

"Where are we going?" Remus asked.
"You'll see." Sirius said with a smirk playing on his lips.
They were walking in silence when Sirius said "What is your favourite movie genre?"
"Uhm, I like rom-coms, sci-fi and war movies." Remus said after thinking for a while.
"And your opinion on Harry Styles?"
"I love him! He's so handsome and cute and his voice I can't survive one day without listening to him!"
"I am on a date with a fanboy?" Sirius asked raising his eyebrows.
Remus blushed.
"Anyways this is perfect for my plans." Sirius said and laughed a little.
After walking for a while, Sirius finally stopped.
He stopped in front of a cinema.
"Oh, what movie are we gonna watch?" Remus asked with a smile on his lips and amusement in his eyes.
He loved the cinema. He went there all the time. Although the last month he hadn't had time for it.
"You'll have to wait and see." Sirius said and smirked.

"Are we watching Dunkirk? Are you serious?!" Remus practically yelled, not being able to hold in his excitement.
"Yes we are, and indeed i am serious and Sirius." Sirius said with a smirk.
Remus rolled his eyes.

"I loved Harry Styles in Dunkirk! He is an amazing actor! And his face is just beautiful!" Remus rambled.
"Hey! Don't forget I'm the one you should look at and think of like that!" Sirius said playing that he was offended.
Remus scrunched his nose in the cute way he always did when he was confused. Sirius couldn't help but stare.
"But....are we dating? Cause I really suck at social life and I wouldn't know and just-" he was cut of by Sirius hugging him and whispering in his ear
"Just shut up and be cute. We'll talk about that later."
"Ok...if you say so." Remus said and shrugged.
"But if you want us to be something, I'm more than happy to oblige." Sirius said and smirked.
"Just shut up already!" Remus said and punched Sirius playfully in his shoulder.
"Ouch!" He said and rubbed his shoulder. "I have a bruise right there!"
"From what?" Remus asked and lifted one eyebrow.
"Id rather not tell, but since you are so fucking cute and i can't fucking say no to that face, I'll tell you." Sirius said with a sigh at the end.
"Lily hit me."
"Lily what?! That's just hilarious! A girl did that to you?! The invincible Sirius?!" Remus said between fits of laughter.
"Ha-ha. Very funny." Sirius said pouting.
"But why did she hit you?" Remus finally said after a few minutes of him laughing and Sirius becoming more and more angry.
"She thought I was playing you." Sirius said and quickly followed up with "Which I of course am not doing, if you were wondering!"
"Aha. I see. So that's all?"
"Yes."
"I should go home. It's late and I have to study." Remus said.
"I'll walk you!" Sirius said and flashed a smile.

They were standing in front of the door to Remus and Lily's apartment when Remus said "Thanks for tonight. It was amazing." and smiled.
Sirius was leaning on the door and answered "Well it was a pleasure taking you!".
They stared into each other's eyes for a long time when suddenly Sirius looked away.
"What's wrong?" Remus asked worriedly.
"Uhm it's nothing it's just that... I.. have never actually done something like this before." He said awkwardly and scratched the back of his head.
"What thing?"
"You know, the whole 'dating but not dating' thing"
"Oh, that thing... soooo... do you want to be my boyfriend?" Remus asked.
He would have thought that Sirius was the one who would be asking, but somehow he got the courage to it first.
Sirius looked like he could kiss Remus on the spot.
And he did.
They kissed soft and tenderly, but soon turned into a sloppy kiss full of emotions. Remus closed his eyes and let his body be controlled by the moment.
The only thing that mattered was Sirius's lips on his.
And the whole world didn't matter anymore.
At last, they were out of breath and Remus looked Sirius in the eyes and said "I'll take that as a yes?"
"Yes, you moron!" Sirius said and laughed.
Soon his lips met Remus's for the second time today.
He put his hand on his neck and pulled his face against his own.
They were kissing furiously, fighting for dominance. Neither of them were gonna give up.
At last Sirius gave up.
"You like being in charge, eh?"
"Just shut up and kiss me" Remus groaned.
As you please"
This time it was just a quick peck.
"Hey! That's not a kiss!"
"Sorry hun, as much as I like doing this, I think we shouldn't take this to far tonight." Sirius said a bit disappointed.
Remus pouted.
Then he turned on the heel and shut the door right in front of Sirius's nose.

As soon as Remus stepped inside, he was bombarded by questions.
"So how was it? What did you do?"
"James? What are you doing here?" Remus asked.
"Oh,you don't remember. That's fine." James said mock hurt.
"On the other side of the door, Sirius yelled "Hey man, moonboy won't let me in so can you let me in?"
Remus felt the heat rush to his face and said "Well fuck you, Emo guy!"
"It would be a pleasure!"
"What?- you know I I didn't mean it like that you moron!"
James chuckled.
Remus slowly turned to look at James who was sitting on the couch, when he saw Lily. Sitting next to James. Snuggled against his chest, sleeping.
His mouth formed a big o.
Then he slowly walked over to the door and let Sirius in.
He pointed at James and Lily.
Sirius face turned into a mix of shock and laughter.
"I have to take a pic!"
No! You won't fucking do this!" James hissed.
"Hell yeah I will!"
Somehow they ended up in Remus's bedroom.
Sirius had taken his shirt of and was laying on the bed, half naked playing on his phone.
Remus rolled his eyes and huffed.
"Would you please move over so I can have some space too, love?"
Sirius arched his eyebrow.
"Love, eh? So are we together?"
"I dont know. Are we?" Remus asked teasingly.
"We are if you want to."
Sirius had scooted closer to Remus and was now breathing down his neck.
"But are you ready for this?"
Remus moved closer, his face only inches apart from Sirius's.
"Yes, I am."
"Okay"
Then Sirius plopped down to the bed again.
Well, goodnight love"

Remus woke up and rolled around.
It was part of his routine.
But this time something was in the way.
Or someone he thought.
He slowly opened his eyes and turned to look straight into the face of Sirius.
Sirius was laying there, snuggled against his bare chest.
And he was only wearing sweatpants.
What happened last night? He thought to himself.
The weight of Sirius was bone crushing, so he carefully removed his toned body away, careful not to wake him up.
He then walked into the kitchen and ate some cereal.
A few minutes later, someone walked into the kitchen.
He assumed it was Lily, and didn't even bother checking. He had forgotten that Sirius was here too.
He froze when he felt someone's muscled arms wrap around his torso.
He slowly turned around to look Sirius straight into his grey eyes.
"Hey, you're awake. Finally. I thought you were dead, you don't move at all.
And you sleep so quietly!"
"Wow, stalker!" Sirius replied and placed a quick kiss on Remus's lips.
That was not the response he had expected, but this was almost as good.
Maybe even better.
To spend time with your boyfriend in the morning.
The word boyfriend was still exotic to Remus.
He shuddered when Sirius gently tapped his shoulder.
Sirius's eyes wandered downwards and Remus said "Hey! Eyes up here! What do you want?"
"Ehm, where are the bowls and the spoons?"
"In the cupboard there, and the drawer under."
Remus was about to eat again when he noticed it.
He didn't have a shirt on.
Of course, that's why he was so cold.
But now that he felt exposed and naked, it was as if he couldn't move.
He just froze in the spot, and quickly covered most of his abs.
Then he also noticed that his sweatpants were hanging surprisingly low.
And Sirius's too.
Fuck, he looked so good like that.
Remus bit his lip. He was not going to think like that. Not right now.
Sirius sat next to him and they snuggled against eachother in comfortable way.
They ate in silence until James came.
"What the hell! What have you been doing! No, please don't tell me, I don't want to know! Why did I even ask in the first place? Forget that I'm here."
Remus and Sirius laughed.
"The question is, what did you and Lily do last night? And yes, we want to know, unlike you." Sirius said.
"Since when do you speak for me?" Remus said in a mock hurt tone.
"Since we got together, love"
"Please, get a room!"
Sirius flipped the finger and left with Remus to his room.
"So, what do you want to do?"
"Lets watch a movie!" Sirius exclaimed.
"You really do love movies, don't you?" Remus said and giggled.
"Hell yeah I do! Let's watch perks of being a wallflower!"
"Okay"
