“Lyra, come here!” shouted out Hunter, his voice cracking off the edge of boyhood as it echoed off the walls of the armory. He leaned back against the wall, glancing over at her and taking in every little small detail of her face; the way her red lips quirked up as he said her name, the light blush that coated her porcelain cheeks and the way she glanced up at him through her lashes. She thought he didn’t notice these small little things about her, she was oblivious to the way he watched her, like she was the most precious gem in the world.
She looked up at him, drawing her sword from her scabbard and raising it. “You come to fight me, oh valiant knight,” she mocked, her voice tinkling like bells. She let out a giggle and hopped forward, her skirts floating around her ankles like a cloud of blue smoke. She raised her sword to his neck, tilting his chin up. She looked up at him, her eyebrow raised. “Well, are we going to fight or not?”

There once was a knight that was sworn to protect a princess, however, that princess never needed any protection. She was a fierce and fiery girl and oh, did he know it.
The knight and the princess grew up, fighting and playing as they enjoyed their youthful days. As they grew up so did their love for each other.
Their love was a strange thing, a strong thing too…not to mention a forbidden thing.
A story about a princess, a knight, forbidden magic, dragons, the fight for ones kingdom and not to mention a forbidden romance.

Please don't judge my book solely based on the description-even though that's usually what happens-I'm not very good with these and I typed out around ten versions of this. I have a plot in mind and this is something I'm really excited about too!
