Ryan was sitting at his desk scribbling notes down. He was ok with school work it helped that he didn't have very many friends, actually he only had one. Spencer Smith. Unfortunately Spencer moved away and they couldn't see each other often. Ryan gave up trying to figure out what the teacher was saying and started drawing a little. He finished drawing a cat sitting with its ears flattened and a broken heart over its chest. "For this project I will be putting you in partners." The teacher said. Most of the students just groaned, but Ryan's head snapped up looking at the teacher. Ryan didn't like people or school now he was expected to do school work with a person. He folded his arms on the desk and lowered his head letting out a quiet curse. The teacher listed off names of people who were partners. Ryan didn't know who most of them were he wasn't very social. He kept quite waiting for his name and who he would be forced to work with. "And George Ross with Brendon Urie." She said. "It's Ryan." He groaned.

The last bell of the day finally rang. Ryan swung his worn out bag over his shoulder walking towards the buildings exit. Brendon Urie. He was partnered with Brendon fucking Urie. Brendon was the opposite of Ryan happy, hyper, social. Ryan didn't like talking to people and it seemed like Brendon loves talking. Great. Just then the great Brendon Urie came bounding down the hallway. "Hi. So I guess we're partners." Brendon said cheerily. "Yeah I guess." Ryan mumbled. "Not the talking type I see." Brendon said still following him. Ryan stopped and turned to him. "Look I don't like talking to people I'm not like you I'm not a happy, social person so can we skip the small talk and just work on the project." He snapped. Today wasn't a good day. "Ok grumpy." Brendon muttered. They started walking again. "Well I have the right to be in a bad mood on the anniversary of my moms death." Ryan replied coldly not looking back. Brendon paused trying to process what he just said. "I'm sorry-" Brendon answered getting cut off. "Whatever." Ryan sighed finally leaving the building known as hell and walking home.
