It was late out so Brendon was surprised when he got a knock on his door. He opened it reveling his distraught boyfriend. Ryan's eyes were red and puffy tears were streaming down. "Ryan? What's wrong?" Brendon questioned pulling him inside and giving him a hug. Ryan cried into Brendon's shoulder holding on tightly. "M-my father." Is all he said. "What?" Ryan pulled away looking at him. "He's moving away and he's taking me with him." He explained. Brendon couldn't think right it's like his brain was on hold. "W-what does this mean for us?" Brendon asked almost not wanting an answer. "He's homophobic Bren. He found out about us and won't let me see you or contact you. I think it's best if we break up." Ryan answered. Now it was Brendon who was fighting back tears. "If that's what you want them fine." Brendon replied the words sticking in his throat. His mind was screaming at him to disagree and try to reason with him, but he knew it would only make it worse. "I'm still gonna care about you, but I'm leaving tomorrow and I can't force you to stick to me when I'm miles away and we can't talk. It will be better if you can try to move on." Ryan said. Brendon stopped him from continuing by kissing him one last time. Ryan kisses back, but only for a few seconds before pulling away. "Good bye Brendon." He said sadly leaving that house that in a way has become a home to him. Leaving Brendon was the hardest part of all of this."
