Y/n POV
...Glenn

...he was right there...in front of me..

Instantly I ran up to him. Tackling him in a monster hug so that we ended up falling on the ground. "I can't believe I found you..." I said sobs making their way out but I didn't let them.
"I'm so happy you're here. Alive..." he said also crying because he had thought he'd lost his best friend forever..

Daryl POV.  ( oh look an different pov. 😱)

She just stopped and stared at Glenn for a few seconds.. next thang I knew was that he was attacked in a monster hug. She was trying to contain her cries and he looked like he was about the cry too.' I thought she was single..' I thought to myself 'guess not...'

Soon after their little 'moment' they both got up wiping their tears, once again hugging each other tightly. Like they're scared to lose each other again..

Y/n POV

We sat there for about a minute of two just holding each other in ours arms. After that we stood up wiped our eyes a little, laughing a little at ourselfs as we enclosed each other in another tight hug. "I've missed you pizza man" I said shakily, 'pizza man was one of my many nicknames for him because he'd always use his free pizzas he got from work to cheer me up.
"I've missed you too you little asshole.. you had me worried sick.." he quietly said, loud enough to be heard. We stood there once again until *cough cough*
"You said you was single. How do you two know each other.." Shane said sternly. I sighed "he's my best friend, we've known each other for years... he's always been there for me.." I said, not wanting to bring up my mother...

Jordan came up, giving Glenn a quick bro-hug. He hadn't seen Glenn in quite a while since he was always out when he'd come over.

I looked around at the people, they all introduced themselves. Apparently Glenn talked about me a little to a few people, saying my name in his dreams, or should I say nightmares. The girls, Lori, Andrea and Amy were smirking at me. I gave them quizzical looks and went on my way, following Glenn and Shane. Shane said everyone had a job, the girls did the laundry and the cooking for the most part but I upright refused. I was NOT going to be doing laundry, I thought it was completely sexist to have all of the girls doing that, plus I believed that I would be more useful at hunting and going out on runs. He tried to argue but before he knew it I was going on a hunt to catch more food.

Glenn's POV

"There's no point man.. once she's made up her mind there's no way you're changin' that.. I've known her since we were little, she can hunt really well and she's fast, knows the area. The forests better than Daryl and Merle probably and the city better than me. She's smart, she'll really help us.." I said clasping my hand on Shane's shoulder as she walked off. That little asshole was always a stubborn one, the only way to get your way is to get her ice cream or pizza so there's no way that's happening.
"Whatever..." he said shrugging my hand off.

Y/n POV

I said I was going out on a hunt but in reality I just wanted to be alone for a while. Seeing Glenn made me have faith that my Dad was still alive...

It's true that he was one tough some of a bitch but he's probably spending all of his time looking for me and Jordan..

I sat by a tree a little ways away from camp so that even if they went out they wouldn't be near me at all. I sat there curled up into a ball thinking about my Dad.. I missed him so much. He'd helped me with so much and now he's just gone...

After a while I was sobbing, I just wanted one of his hugs..

I hear a stick snap behind me, quickly o grabbed my crossbow loading it and aiming it at the source of the noise. I thought it'd just be a walker but it's wasn't.. it was none other than Daryl Dixon him fucking self..

I quickly wiped my tears and sat back down, waiting for him to leave.. but he didn't..

He came over to me and sat beside me.

"Y' aright?" I said with his rough voice.

"I'm fine.." I said shakily not wanting him to see me in tears. It made me look weak and I didn't want anyone to see me like that.

"You're obviously not, I heard you cryin'. I know you're not okay, you're just sayin' that because you think I'll think you're weak.." he said, I was trying to contain my tears, I'm not letting anyone see my cry.

Slowly I got up and started walking, shooting a few rabbits and squirrels on my way back so they think I actually went hunting. Daryl just trailed behind me, unsure of what to say so he stayed quiet. I spoke up first.
"You don't tell anyone that you heard me crying understand" I said sternly
"why?" He asked
" I just don't want anyone to know" I said quietly. He grabbed my wrist, I winced and he quickly let go.
" Sorry I didn't think I grabbed ye that rough." He said concerned
"it's okay, it wasn't that.." I said not wanting to tell him about the cuts on my arm..

Daryl POV

I grabbed her wrist to say something to her face but when I did she winced as if she was in pain so I let her go.
"Sorry I didn't think I grabbed ye that rough." I said genuinely concerned and sorry
"it's okay, it wasn't that.." she said quietly. If it wasn't that then what was it? Did she cut herself?!

Before I could say anything she started walking away quickly. "Y/-." I was cut off by Shane walking towards us.

Y/n POV

Shane started walking towards us.. he looked pissed..

"Where the fuck 'ave y' been?!" He said angrily, not yelling just pissed off.
"I was huntin' " I said not wanting to deal with his shit.

I started to walk past 'im, brushing against his shoulder a lil bit quickly making my way back to camp. When I got back there I saw a red neck, kinda looked like Daryl but I could tell by the way he looked at me that I knew that he was way different personality wise.
" Hey sugar tits, never seen y' round here b'fore" he said, I didn't want to talk to anyone I just wanted to be by myself so I just ignored him and walked off sighing and rolling my eyes. I walked up to Lori to hand her what I caught, she looked a little surprised but took it anyway. I then walked over to my tent, they had set one up when I was away and got the zip stuck on purpose so no one could get in without me making it unstuck. I lay down, closing my eyes laying there peacefully until I hear someone trying to get in.
"Who the fuck is it?!" I semi-yelled
"Y/n it's me, Glenn. What's wrong?? And don't say nothing. You always say that.." he always knew how to get me to come out.. sighing I undid the zip looking up at him. He quickly came in and zipped the tent back up because he knew I didn't want anyone to see me or try to talk to me.
"What's wrong Y/n..?"
"..nothing... I just miss my Dad.. I haven't seen him since this started, what if I never see him again.." I said starting to ball my eyes out, he pulled me close as I clung to him. He always knew how to calm me down, he knew that I kept my emotions inside and that I only let them out with him.
"Shhh... it's okay" he said slowly. We stayed there for a while until he broke the comfortable silence
" we're going out on a run, you wanna come?"
" who's all goin'?" I asked
"me, obviously, Andrea, T-dog, Merle, Morales and Jaqui"
"m'kay, I'll come. I'll probably have to save your ass" I said while laughing a little
" well then let's go get ready" he said.
