A/N; if you're sensitive with smut, i warn you now.
It was late, or insanely early, she knew that much. Earlier that day, when she left the bar of the clubhouse to go get cleaned up just as she said. Showering, changing into another set of pjs and knocking out completely for several hours.
Rolling out of bed, her body still ached and with no one around her, she sat for a moment and let herself feel the stinging ache that shook through her when she moved. Hissing when she decided to get up, lifting herself to find some sort pain medication to soothe it. She saw no one, and she was grateful, walking further into the clubhouse she started rummaging quietly through them to try and find something.
Feeling a hand on her back, JD turned and whacked them over the head with a ironically giant wooden spoon. More or less attempted to, whoever was behind her grabbed her arm and gently lowered it. Given she was off game, and had used her injured arm, she gave and looked at Juice after seeing it was him. As much as she couldn't stand him, she wasn't feeling up to fighting him.
Feeling weak, she rolled her eyes "What do you want, Juan Carlos?" she asked, groaning slowly. Dropping her arms to her sides.
"You're making noise, people, including me are trying to sleep." He growled, it was typical for him to be a douche bag, but she wasn't in the mood. It was late, she was exhausted and weak, she had no patience.
She sighed, and instead of firing back with rude commentary she slouched her shoulders and shot him an apologetic look "I'm sorry. I'm in pain, and can't find shit all to help it." she admitted in barely a mumble.
For the first time since she's met this man, he's shown an emotion that wasn't anger, his face visibly softened. From what she could see in the dark. He shook his practically bald head and moved passed her. Looking into one of the very last drawers and pulling out a bottle of tylenol, handing her two. "Water?" he asked, she slowly nodding her head, she didn't know if she could trust this side of him, or if he'd use her weak state to his advantage. Though she hardly knew the man, she doubted that he was the type to.
JD watched as he moved behind the counter, grabbing a bottle of water, opening it up for her before handing it other in an oddly gentle, and surprising manner. She took it with gratitude clear in her own face and swallowed down the pills with it.
She wanted to mutter a thank you, but nothing came out. Juice was staring at, the expressions on his face was unidentifiable to her, and it confused her quite a bit. Ending up staring back directly at him, she started to notice a lot about him. Their surroundings were too dark for her to get a good look at detail, but shadows defined a lot. His brown eyes that usually held either a pissy, or sarcastic look, were soft, maybe there was even a hint of concern. One could tell that when he spoke, he used expressions a lot, and he often smiled, a giant, goofy smile. It was clear from the lines that permanently etched their way into his skin. His skin was clear of scars mostly, maybe on or two from nicking himself while shaving. There was tiny amounts of stubble that had littered him chin and the shadows cast over them perfectly. He was handsome, there was no doubt.
One thing JD didn't realize was that she was staring, and he'd caught her doing so. That didn't matter, though, he was doing the same. Taking in the little details of her naked face, making something of everything he saw in his head. Juice was the one person out of the entire Charming Charter that she hadn't taken the time to get to know even in the slightest? Mainly due to the fact that she hated him since he brought that story of her family the very first day, and since then he'd bothered her with every little thing he saw fit.
Juice was slowly getting closer to her, she again didn't realize this, she was too caught up in her own thought process to.That wasn't something that ever happened to her, staying in focus and aware of her surroundings had always been her biggest strength, nothing had ever thrown her off that patch before. It was alarming, and concerning but she couldn't keep her eyes off of Juice.
